Hello Everyone,

Happy New Year! I am new to this forum and hoping I can find some help here. I am from chicago but getting married in Laguna Beach and I am looking for someone who does pakistani bridal makeup (including setting duppatta, jhoomer, etc). I am looking for more pakistani style then indian. Preferrably the style that Sabs (in Karachi) has, if you can provide any insight that would be great!

Thanks for posting this Sharmeen, I was going to ask the same. Can anyone help us out with makeup or henna artists in socal? I am also looking for suggestions from norcal as half the festivities would be there. Thanks so much ladies, i am really trying hard to find some Pakistani women who can do the make up and pakistani henna.. but no luck :(

Also sgc, I remember there was a frequent poster around here who was based in northern California who started her own invitation cards boutique. I just can't remember who it was?

i would recommend Farah Manekia. she's done a ton of brides. plus she's quite reasonable from what i understand. and she's really nice!

Hey! i'm also looking for a make up artist. i'm getting married in June 2010. I can't find any good pakistani bridal make up artist, i wish i was getting married in Paki. :( I'm in FL, and i dont like any from here. is there any good ones in US???

I think she's from California as well:)

i'd recommend jessemakeupartist.com he did my valima makeup. you can tell him i referred you. he's very sweet.

Bridal Makeup- Southern Cali

Please help! Need to find a makeup artist for wedding.

Does anyone know MAC makeup artist in Irvine/Laguna area that do bridal makeup..they tend to be better than the traditional route. But I'll take all suggestions.

I am not from California so would love suggestions from people local to that area.

Also, what the normal rate for bridal makeup + hair?

hmmm i think mac is a good choice, i would recommend going to culver city there is a lady there her name starts with an f, can remember it she is pakistani who does bridal stuff.

you should also try going to artesia, california they have a few pakistani shops which may be able to advise you on more bridal bride places.
