Re: bridal make up

The new million lashes by loreal is one of the best mascaras i have tried.

Nars do the best eye shadow and blushers and they LAST!

Urban decay are pretty good too and bobby brown gel eye liners are again very long lasting.

Makeup shopping spree - Love those!
If you don't want to get mac eyeshadows - try Makeup Forever (MUFE). NARS is also good, but I like MUFE's eyeshadows a lot better. NARS has GREAT blushes & lipsticks though
Mascara - honestly, you don't have to dish out a lot of money here because you can find a great one even at Walmart (Cover Girl Lash Blast) . If you want a brand name mascara...try Dior's mascaras, they're quite nice.

All the best!

Re: bridal make up

Where can i get nars and makeup forever products from??

Thanks x

Re: bridal make up

Urban decay have some great eye shadow palletes..gove them a try..its abit better and cheaper then buying single eyeshadows..

Mizz Khan where do you live?

Re: bridal make up

nars for blushes..dior for mascara..if u wana try drugstore brands then maybelline is the best option they have a good selection of mascaras like xxl..

I have noticed that drugstore brands may have nice mascara's and lipsticks, but their eye-shadows are never pigmented enough.

Cargo
NARS
Benefit
Urban Decay
Art Deco
The Body Shop

Make sure to get a nice gold, copper/bronze and silver (eyeshadow) and colors you normally use. Turquoise, lilac, beige, black etc.

For blushers:

Get a pink to go with your whites, blacks, pinks, purples and blues. And a 'tawny' colored one to go with oranges, browns, yellows and green/olives.

Tbh I prefer drug store mascara's...I chuck mine away after 3 months anyway so I find there's no point spending a lot on higher end brands. I like L'oreal's beauty tubes mascara and Covergirl's lashblast. If you do want a higher end mascara then Dior's Diorshow and Lancome's Hypnose are probably the best imo.

Yup their mascara's and lipsticks may ne nice..but the eye-shadows are never pigmented or nice.

Re: bridal make up

im based in uk i think would be easier if there are pallettes for eye shadows rather than buying them individually!!!

Re: bridal make up

bobbi brown has a gud colour of pallettes

Re: bridal make up

Mizz Khan I live in the UK too and many guppans here including myself have ordered the 88 eye shadow colour pallette from Coastal Scents. You can order their pallettes online. They're not expensive at all.

Bobbi Brown have small pallettes and their eyeshadows are really nice. You could give them a try? Also I would recommend Chanel. I bought a small pallette from them to do smoky eyes and I absolutely love it!

Re: bridal make up

I forgot to add something since you're buying making for your wedding. I would highly recommend Bobbi Brown's shimmer brick an alternative to that can be found at the Body Shop which is probably half the price. You can apply it on the apple of your cheeks on its own or on top of a nice blusher. It gives the illusion of a healthy glow :)

Re: bridal make up

you can make up your own mac palettes. the palette shadows are cheaper too.

i wouldn't wear anything like the BB shimmer brick on the wedding unless you know what to do with it. shimmer/highlighter needs to be applied appropriately and carefully, otherwise you will look like a shimmery, greasy mess in the photos.
but it's nice to have as part of the after shaadi collection.

Re: bridal make up

88 collection are these good mama ki dua? do they last? and where do i purchase them from?

i have one week in which i have to get everything sorted!!!!! i cant get to mac now that i have to make a special trip to another town and i really dont have time and nor i can get bobbi brown!

Re: bridal make up

I'm assuming ur looking for high street brands?

If so then try "sleek" eye shadows palettes there like £5 for a palette of 12 colours and r pretty good. also "Barry m" have some pretty colours in their pigments. I usually apply it all over the lid with a wet brush. ur other option is to buy online.

Re: bridal make up

Mizz Khan: We ordered them online. Type in coastal scents eyeshadow in google and it'll come up. They send them over from the US. The colours do last you depending on how much you use but there are so many colours to choose from. I rarely ever wear eyeshadow but the few times i've tried them on they were fine.

Re: bridal make up

Could anyone suggest good makeup brands to be used right after the wedding? I'm from Pakistan and need to know how the local brands are (LUSCIOUS/ETUDE/ODHO cosmetics). Do let me know where they're available, i mean location of shops preferably near tariq Road, KHI.
I'd be grateful if someone could tell me of international brands too.
Plz mention the prices in both local and international brands.
Does anyone know if LAKME India products are available in Karcahi/UAE?

Plz reply.

*Great topic. keep it on.
