hi guys… i know there are many thread regarding the above topic, but couldnt find an answer to my question in any…

My baraat is planned in gulshan and ive selected shagufta ijaz for my bridal make-up… whereas my valima is in pc and we have chosen saabs for that…

now im having second doubts abt shagufta ijaz… the reason y i chose her coz i didnt wana go for rose / maha rose sort… i was near to my place… for diplex i wasnt convinced… and customer service at shagufta ijaz was nice…

the confusion is, i dont want a striking difference between my make-ups in baraat and valima… i know saabs is the best, whereas shagufta ijaz may be not…

should i choose saabs for my baraat too… main reason i didnt do that was coz didnt wana commute all the way back from clifton to gulshan… only worried k mera make-up tho kharab nahin ho jayega while commuting…

and if not saabs… are there any better alternatives near gulshan which are better than shagufta ijaz…

need ur advises,

havnt seen any bride by shagufta ejaaz uptill now so cant say anything... but in gulshan ...i guess dere is zara's branch...not sure though

I have not heard of Shagufta Ijaz so don't know about her. Did you check out her brides' pictures, albums, etc?

Depilex is not that bad..... my Valima makeup was from the Depilex in Defence (in 2005) and they did a pretty nice job except for the blush and lipstick (wrong shades), which I made them change :D

Saabs is definitely a class above......... I would say go to Saabs for wedding too if you have an air-conditioned car......... then no worries, it won't get kharaab.... it lasts for 8-10 hours easily.

Wait where's Shagufta Ijaz parlor? You talking about the one in Gulistan-e-johar? Did you see the portfolio or any real bride from there? I live in Gulshan too :) But am thinking abt Depilex Bahadurabad for my makeup. I too don't want to go all the way to Defence.

shagufta ijaz was better... had seen her profile... was good.. but cudnt see an actual bride...

now if i have to choose... ive read good reviews abt laiqa hasan, shaheen saeed and nabila too... (apart from saabs)

pls let me know their prices (including services and henna) and post pics....

I would suggest sabs for both days!!
I just got married in August and got my makeup done from sabs for all 3 days and each day's look came out unique and different....everyone loved the makeup
