om…the set my husband gave me on our wedding night is almost EXACTLY the same!! its his family heirloom…so i don’t know how many generations is had been passed down, but i’m grateful…alhamdulillah :)

k i posted that green brides pic so i will tell u what these sets r as i know a lot abt jewellery... yes they r polki sets n the green one has a combo of diamonds as well which looks very unique n different!
BUTTT if i were i wouldnt go for somthing liek this for 2 reason.. 1stly polki is uncut diamonds if u dont know... n these sets have a lot of tiny tiny uncut polki... my family jeweller showed me the difference between the real uncut n the cut glass polki, n honestly i cud NOT tell the difference becuse it was soo tiny!n u pay 3 times as much for real polki in this size
NOW 2ndly if u get the really big decent sized polki that is much better n u can actually tell the difference between fake n real, n the bigger one shines like crazy n gives more a an impact.. now a days every single bride is doign these type of sets n they look very very fake because now all the fake jewellers r copying the same design n u really cant tell the diffeence.. if i wer eu i wud get the authenitc big polki which u can tell is real n looks better... ill put up pics of what real polki sets look like...
my sister is wearing this one for her wedding its a bad quality but if u saw it in real its stunninggggggg

every single jeweller in lahore has this set and they r copying it... but this origional saadia mirza one hs actual polki n is worth 45 lak!!!!!

^ that's odd - I got a qoute of 25 lakhs for the set, just over a year ago. I refuse to believe gold/diamonds have been hit by inflation to that extent?

yeh i agree its wayyyyyyyyyyy too much, i showed our family jeweller he quoted 10 lak for this set! now thats a much better deal!!! n yes srry i mistyped it was 25 not 45... n i agree i refuse to believe in such hgh inflation of gold n jewels to such an extent its crazy... but when u go to pakistani weddings its hard to belive that inflation has hit anyone who has money there... ppl still spend crazy amounts of money like no tmmrw n goign more n mogre extravanat byt the day1

Does she claim those are real diamonds and emeralds? If so, either the stones are lousy, or she can't possibly be selling for that price...judging from the picture, there are 10-12 larger white stones, which must be at least 2 carats each. Even if they're only mediocre gemstone grade diamonds, each stone should be worth at least $8-9,000.
