Bridal hair

Hey girls… I just discovered this forum and wondering if any of you have pics or ideas of nice updo’s for my valima… I’m not wearing a dupatta and am wearing a matha-patti… (although, I’m wishing now that I had made a tiara - when else can I get away with wearing a cute tiara?!)…

Anyway, thanks in advance for the suggestions!.. my wedding is four weeks away!!

Re: Bridal hair

Wow! Is this wedding season or what?

I was wondering what I was gonna do with my short hair. And whether to cover my head or not. Yeah someone please give some ideas.

Ms.bdbride, do you have short hair?

Re: Bridal hair

Nope... long hair! I'm covering my head for the nikkah and wedding reception... but don't feel that I need to for the valima... and I want to be free to dance and enjoy myself... anyway, would love to see pics!

Re: Bridal hair

You can do alot with long hair. Pin them up or at the back. I'd like to post some pictures but I do not have the permission from whose picture it is.

Re: Bridal hair

I know... there are a million different things you can do with long hair... but that's why I'm posting... to get ideas and see pics! :)

Re: Bridal hair

Since u dont have to wear a duputta i suggest doing a half updo, and curling the rest, letting it fall down ur shoulders :)

Re: Bridal hair

this is for u mehnaz

Re: Bridal hair

Who mehnaz? :expressionless:

Thanks for these pics though. Hmm… the first one is cool. Is there anything else you can do with short hair?? :bummer:

I mean what about shoulder length hair?

Re: Bridal hair

my cuz wore a matha patti as well for her wedding, with a tikka in the middle. what the lady at the salon did was the she tied the duppatta almost in the middle of the head, and she had a middle part done...she has medium hair, and the rest of it was curled and was around her hsoulders. if you are going to wear the duppatta the traditional way, i dont thin it's worth getting all that fancy updos, cuz it's just going to get covered by the duppatta anyways.

Re: Bridal hair
