Bridal Gowns

This is for my niece’s rukhsati. She wanted to wear a lehnga but is now leaning towards a gown.
Looking for something elegant but still rich…

She likes this one but I’m thinking it might be a little light. I’m not sure. Perhaps the fully embroidered dupatta will be enough to make it “bridal”?

Additional suggestions will be appreciated.

Re: Bridal Gowns

I suggest adding more work to the bottom

Re: Bridal Gowns

Some of the gown style bridals that I personally like

Not a gown but well … this is my favorite bridal

I like it as is, Muzna, but the dress reminded me of this one:

So you could possibly take some ideas from this.

Re: Bridal Gowns

It's a lovely dress, an embroidered patti on the sleeves or motifs on the upper arm or spray of small motifs on both sleeves and the plain area of the gown ought to give the dress a heavier bridal look.

Re: Bridal Gowns

Oooh embroidered lines like in the dress above would look super pretty

Re: Bridal Gowns

how did i miss this one

this is gorgeous!!! my favorite so far!

Re: Bridal Gowns

It's a lovely dress Muzna, who is it by?

She can always increase the amount of kaam to make it bride appropriate.

Re: Bridal Gowns

It is by Ammar Shahid I think.
And apparently it is not a gown but an anarkali and leghna. I was mistaken.
I wonder if it could be made as a gown though......with a double daman?

Re: Bridal Gowns

At work so can’t post pictures but

Riteish and Genelia walk for Neeta Lulla at the grand finale of IBFW | PINKVILLA

I like the concept of it - maybe you change up the colors to what your neice likes.

Re: Bridal Gowns

nice but not traditional enough for her…

Re: Bridal Gowns

I think just add spray it will be full n elegant

Re: Bridal Gowns

so guess what…our proto has set me straight and advised that this is not a gown at all but a shirt and lehnga outfit. :smack:

no wonder the high cost of making it with two items that contain so much ghair!!!

Re: Bridal Gowns

I'm sure you can easily make a maxi/gown version of it for less

Re: Bridal Gowns

I love the back detailing on train on this. Does anyone know who the designer is? A picture of the front would be nice too
