Two dupattas makes so much more sense than one overly heavy one. This way you can get the lighter one placed on the hair and the heavier one on the shoulders and chest.

but then you can't really move... although i guess if the plan is to stay on stage all night, it doesnt really matter...

Yes, she is wearing two dupattas, the one on the head was very light and had very little work on it...so it was very manageable...

Really lovely pics. I assumed the beautician does the dupatta setting as well. thats what happens with most brides doesnt it?

^ yeah usually the ppl doing hte makeup also set the duputta and jewelry

Yes, she is wearing two dupattas...the lighter one on the head..

Yes, thats my elder sister … she picked up the dress from some designer in India, i cant remember the name..but she fell in love with it at some bridal show. It was very pretty…here are the full pics

her valima was just a small dinner, i dont have the pics of that yet…but I’ll post them once i get them…I have a picture of my friend’s sister who just got married a few weeks back..this is her valima dress, very pretty.
