I love this

Re: Dupata setting of Dulhan

i'ld have it completely over the head ( with hair bunned to look taller ":> ) and around the shoulders wrapped around for modesty and grace, with the border of the veil properly pinned or carefully let lose on the right side.

Re: Dupata setting of Dulhan

I loved all of the settings ( pics)
Out of the first 5 pictures my fave was the 4th pic.
Then in the pictures Ramsha posted the 3ed and 4 pic i love.
Then out of the first set of pictures naughty honey the 3ed was beautiful
Ahhh so many choices.

I know this is alittle of topic but the girl in the pink, 1st set of pictures posted second pic. It looks like her Mendhi did not set well or maybe its just her fair skin or the lighting. is it just me?Im not being mean... just wondering :)

You mean this one? I think its just the lighting.. henna is hardly ever that clear from such a far distance

Re: Dupata setting of Dulhan

It could just be her skin. For some individuals, henna color just does not set as intense on the arms and/or back of hands as it does on the palms.

Re: Dupata setting of Dulhan

I had my hair in a bun and the duppatta was over it so it sort of made me look taller like Dushwari. Since the dupatta was really heavy, the parlor lady pinned it around both of my hands to even out the weight. And one side of the dupatta was in the front (to be modest) and one was in the back so it looked sort of stylish.
For valima I had the duppatta mostly in the front (sort of sari style) since the shirt was mostly plain and the dupatta and sharara were heavy so that looked nice too.

thanx!

Re: Dupata setting of Dulhan

I like it straight down.

Hey girls,

Does anyone please have any ideas of styling the dulhans duppatta please ? Ideas for all types of duppatta from the heaviest to the lightest would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much !:rose: :rose: :rose:

Re: Bridal Duppatta setting and styling

have seen this. it's look very good.

drape the embrioidred veil of the bride's dress over the head, and like a shawl all wrapped around with simple border placed on the shoulder, down to the shirt's length & the back side let loose a sensible length, downwards to the bride's feet.
