Shay - Is there an actual picture of the outfit being worn by her anywhere on the net? I really want to get an idea of what it actually looks like?
Would you suggest the Umar Sayeed outfit in another colour possibly?
I'll look around for the pic, I think I have it saved on my home computer. Honestly, I loved her orange/green wedding dress but I just didn't like valima one at all.. it's just soo... dull. I still think you should definitely consider a BZ bridal.

this is a tough one, zigs!! on the one hand, bunto is so classic, you can’t really go wrong. umar sayeed’s outfit is definitely more contemporary. i know i’m in the minority here, but i actually really like it as it is, except for the top.
frankly, i think what it comes down to is what suits your bhabhi’s personality more… after all, she’s the one who’ll be wearing it and you don’t want to put her in something she’ll look/be uncomfortable in, right?

I actually like the Umar Saeed outfit, i think its gorgeous from what i can see. But then again the colors on Bunto's design's palettte look nice too. In the end i think go with what your bhabi will be comfy with.

We spoke to my Bhaabi and she has left it completely to us - She actually likes both outfits and is in the same predicament as us...

SGC - thanks for the pictures babe...the two outfits don't really look alike though I can see the similarities if I had to recall the outfit from memory.
The Bunto outfit was a done deal until we saw the Umar sayeed outfit in the picture above. I actually like the outfit as is and I get the impression that the dull gold base colour is probably more brighter than we are being led to believe?

Can anyone tell if the border of the duppata on the Umar Sayeed outfit is made up of gemstones or mirrors? or is is neither?

This umar saeed outfit is one of my top fav’s. I love everything about it. The only thing I would change is the fabric for the top and have the top made of the same fabric as the lehnga. I think its gorgeous. The banto Kazmi one, I don;t like the look of. Teh shirt is too long for this type of a gharara. The colour selection, as gorgeous as it is, I would do for a mehndi instead of the wedding, or mayve valima. The orange, pink, green i find very mehndish for some reason

just came to work and saw this thread! ahhhhh u know my answer Ziggy......go for Bunto!!! Im in love with the color combination, the fact that its a farshi gharara (something very few designers make properly), traditional, totally "old world glamour"
I dont really like the colors on the Umar Sayeed outfit....very dull---totally remind me of a desert---not festive enough, not feminine enough....I know his kaam is very pretty and unique on other colors and designs......just this particular dress doesn't do anything to me.....
You know wht--just like taking exams, your first answer is usually right and you shouldnt go and change the answers at the end.....well think its the same abt the dress...Initially You wanted Bunto for its timeless elegance, sophistication, detailed embroidery, and to get a nawabi look.....if that was wht u originally wanted then I suggest you stick with it.......
yes Umar sayeed has elegant and sophisticated pieces, but it surely isnt "old world traditional"--the characterisic that appealed to you first........
plus, I like the farshi gharara look:P

u know I actually like the long shirt from Bunto and even the long sleeves..........and she can wear it so many times afterwards....with pants, shalwaar, even capri (to mix up the old with the new!!)

hehhehehehheh thats why BUNTO is better------I LOVE liking things that are very ME......and not something EVERYONE would get......so it becomes more personalized and unique!
