Chanda and SGC we all have to shop in Karachi and Lahore! I've started to go numb in shops now..the last time I went to Karachi (5 days ago) I cudn't decide color/kaam/material ANYTHING! But ALL of u must pay a visit to Rizwan Beyg's shop uff he has gorgeous pieces!
Due to all the load-shedding in Pak these days, kaam-wala's want 3-4 months for a simple outfit with minimum work! I just managed to come back with a rust churidar outfit with copper/bronze metal work.

This is a watered down version of the same outfit and it looks totally different to me!

^ yep, this is apparently Bushra Ansari's daughter's wedding and it's the same Umar Sayeed outfit albeit much lighter. Compare both pics...
When I saw this pic, it kind of put me off the outfit altogether...that kaam seems much brighter and in your face in the pic above. I'm just glad someone had shown me the pic before I decided to go with the outfit...

^ its more the color combination that makes it not appealing to me....otherwise umar sayeeds kaam is so delicate and refined and the chiffon pices look as if the bride is floating on air:)

it is sort of off topic ziggy but i was just thinking what is ur brother wearing? are you guys matching the kaam on his sherwani (if he is wearing one) with the kaam on the bride's dress, is he also wearing designer's sherwani???

^ oh my brother is so casual about the whole thing...he couldn't care less and doesn't want to fuss over the whole thing. Tradtionally, the pathan men wear a kameez shalwar on the wedding day as opposed to a sherwaani, so I think I have no chance of convincing him to get into one! lol
I love the umar sayeed one, its very original and unique.
I think if your bhabhi is evry fair as i think it says in an earlier post that would look lovely on it but maybe with brighter colours??
I really don't like the first one but thats just my opinion.
