Don't wear a sherwani man, they look so outdated and gay, especially since most us Paki guys are dark and skinny and can't carry them off very well (I don't mean you personally because I've not seen you but Asian guys in general).
All the patterns and glitter on Indian style sherwanis make any man look like a drag from India or Ancient Arabia.
They're also a waste of money, you can’t wear a sherwani on any other occasion without looking a dick.
Find yourself a nice Italian tailors or a decent tuxedo retailer and buy yourself two smart and sleek suits for both the Nikaah-Rukhsati and the Waleemah.
Maybe you can correlate the colors of your tie, shirt and waistcoat/vest with the color of your brides dress.

^ there's a place called Punjab fashions.. im pretty sure its in mississsauga..it's been a while but i can find out.. they have okay stuff.. and there's always gerrard.. now ill leave it to sgc to fill in the blanks :D

Oriental Costumes in Mississauga. They get majority of their tailoring done in Karachi or by Mohsin's in Rawalpindi. Gorgeous designs ... very pricey, but if you have no other choice, then it's well worth it IMO. You can make custom orders, but you can buy outfits on the spot as well.

she lives in markham and did my mehendi and shaadi outfits- she's always getting new clothes in from karachi - lots of sk's and lehengas/ghararas - and her kaam is *very *neat and well done. some of the lehengas i saw last time i was there were stunning, and she's always open to negotiation/bargaining. theres a place in richmond hill called Dulhan.... its mostly indian clothing but they custom order to india and i have seen some truly amazing things there. (i dont have the contact info, but its on beaver creek, off of hwy 7, very close to The Host) i think they are also having a sale of their old stuff...i dont know how long that is lasting for.

A little while back a guppan posted the website for a Pakistani store in Mississaga, Jamayz. Though I haven’t been to the store the clothes look nice.
There’s about 2 Indian and 1 Pakistani store located in a plaza in Mississauga,

Frontier Heritage in Brampton has amazing eye popping and stunning lehngas and Saris. It is much better then crap on Gerrard street.

I would NOT recommend **Jamayz **to anyone. The lady was very arrogant and resisted showing her bridal wear since I did not call before hand to make an appointment. She did not even want to deal with me and told me that she's preparing for her client that's going to show up any minute. I was not going to stay there for another minute after getting such a rude response yet on my way out she pulled out two bridal lehngas. The two bridal wear that she DID show as a huge favor were extremely pricey for the amount of work done on them. Later, I found out that her daughter, Sherbano, is apparently a big shot for doing bridal shows in GTA. Neither the mother nor daugther have a degree/certification in designing. I had driven a long distance to check the store out and it was totally not worth it.
Oriental-Costumes have great material and offer a wide range of bridal wear and formal wear (kids/women/men!). They are pricey but the material is worth it. I was very happy with their customer service. The lady there was mashAllah super nice and willing to work with what I had in mind for my gharara. So ladies do pay them a visit, they have great stuff!
Mehnaz does custom bridal and is available by appointment only. The samples she had at the location were quite pricey for the material and work done on them. I did not find her collection to be that great.
Abida Qureshi has a good collection. Her prices are very reasonable, and she's open to negotiation as well. Her attitude is mashAllah very nice. I bought my ghrara from her for a reasonable price.
Of all the places I visited in the past three days, I will recommend Oriental-Costumes (Missisauga) and Abida Qureshi (Markham) * ..she has more clothes coming in at end of April ..do pay a visit ;) *

I got my engagement outfit from Jamayz. The lady was really sweet and accommodating to me. She even hugged me and was really nice to my fiance! In fact I was planning on getting my wedding outfit from there! I guess Laalten had a different experience. I do want to check out Abida Qureshi though!
