Would you hire a bridal consultant?
Re: Bridal Consultant
If I was cash rich and time poor yeh.
Re: Bridal Consultant
Perhaps…since I’m so out of the loop I may hire one for my kids’ weddings
!
Re: Bridal Consultant
Are there Pakistani bridal consultants?
Re: Bridal Consultant
There are - but they are few.
My reason for asking is...
In non-desi weddings, hiring a wedding planner or a bridal consultant is definitely an option. In desi culture, its not. Sab milkay sara kaam kar lete hein.
So, if you could hire a bridal consultant...for a reasonable rate...would you?
And what would you expect from them?
Re: Bridal Consultant
it sounds nice and stress free, but now that my wedding planning is coming to an end (two more weeks inshallah) I have to say that I enjoyed planning my wedding, it's details and all. My family really pulled in and helped a lot. I could just let my wedding planner people do and set up my favors but it was more fun doing them with my family.
It was quite stressful and annoying at times, but I rather do it myself
Re: Bridal Consultant
I'm not sure about it being typical for non-desi's. All the non desi weddings of friends and colleagues that I have seen in the last couple of years are fairly modest compared to weddings within our desi circle of relatives and friends.
It's an option if you're wealthy and having a large wedding that needs a lot of organising and I think a planner would appeal equally to those people.
