Re: BREXIT polls: where does Pakistani community stand?
where do Pakistanis in Pakistan stand : they are busy shopping for designer bags and shoes & playing with currency conversion , being the opportunists they are, taking full advantage of the crash in value of GBP.

Really nothing wrong in that. When Mr. Market provides an opportunity, it is OK to take it. Just as it is OK to shut the door on Mr. Market if one is not interested.
The media keeps reporting is as people not listening to the experts that know best. The experts being the bankers and other financial wiz kids. The true opportunists who raked in billions off of tax payers during the 2008 financial crisis.
David Cameron cut a lot of benefits is what I hear. So that pissed off lot of folks. Who were not ready to listen to "experts" who know best.
Re: BREXIT polls: where does Pakistani community stand?
Agreed with Mr. Southie here. I copied a business article in another thread that says its a great opportunity (only) for smart investors/enterpenuers so why not avail it. Ofcourse currency conversion is one mode.
Re: BREXIT polls: where does Pakistani community stand?
Oh but you do... maybe I should point out every time that happens. It happens everyday online and offline. I too could tell you to be brave enough to think honestly. The statistics speak for all Muslims and it doesn't paint a good picture of our people. We should do something about it. Stop supporting things that are incompatible with modern world. We understand morals better now than we did before. It will take a lot of courage to condemn things that we have spent centuries justifying. Don't just condemn terrorism, condemn its source too. Unfortunately, a small part of it does have everything to do with how religion is being taught. I am not saying that but the entire world is. There are no clear fatwas condemning certain verses of quran and hadith. We spend too much justifying than condemning parts of Islam that really are immoral by today''s standards. No wonder ISIS and others find justification in Islam for their acts.
talking about quran takes time and attention, which not every one has.
I give you simple test from your previous post. Think about that.
So 5 or 6 muslims countries were attacked to ashes, some twice, in last decades - Did not start world war 3.
Now there a slight change in EU, they may not get their socks properly dried from dryer - hence world war 3.
Who you see as more intolerant, according to your post.

this is not the first i have mentioned the coming of a WWIII. And you seem to think I don't understand the war, the destruction, the terrorism that is eating up the middle east and even parts of pakistan. I completely agree with that and blame America and its allies. Nothing will change that. They messed up and the backlash has less to do with islam and more to do with revenge.
Breaking of EU is only the beginning in Europe, and the rest will follow. It is yet one more ingredient needed for a war. Have you heard what Trump and his supporters are saying? Along with economical changes, it will affect other things. Maybe UK muslims wont be affected but American muslims will be affected. BREXIT is fueling Trump and his agenda about making America great again by banning muslims and stop immigration. He has given voice to all racist and xenophobic people and just hear what they are saying. They are infecting other people too. All of this is really bad for muslims and it is about time muslims ditch the violent parts of religion that are indeed making them look bad and suspicious as a whole group. If you distance yourself from those who do terrible things in the name of islam then how could it be a bad thing. The statistics I mentoned in above post are being used against peace loving muslims to show the world that look even if your average Muslim isnt a terrorist he/she supports the anti-modern ideology of sharia law and other hateful things.
This deserves a separate thread and I didn't mean to write detailed posts here but I keep getting replies to my posts. Instead of looking at my posts as an insult towards you and islam, think about it critically. I am not an enemy of Islam or any religion. I have learned to respect people of all faiths but I haven't let go of my common sense. Why would I propose something that will hurt 99% of the people I know and love? I have no hidden agenda.

Your concerns are out of proportion. Amreeka is a funny country.. about time it had a monkey for a president.
Dishonest academia/media created tools and their impact on common people.
Now a monkey (Trump) is using same tools to climb back up on the top, now they are upset ???

but coming to desis and brexit - saw a video of some 2nd or 3rd generation brownies being all dramatic saying ever since the polish guys are cooking curry in asian restaurants, quality has gone down, we need brexit so we can import "authentic curry chefs" from bangladesh as has been the "british tradition". el oh el
Re: BREXIT polls: where does Pakistani community stand?
Why do they want to #BretIn](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=BretIn) ? If this decision was given opportunity by referendum then why would revert it other than referendum… If PM is okay and respecting the voice of people then why would anyone else should care about Brexit or Rexin… :hmmm:
Re: BREXIT polls: where does Pakistani community stand?
So the man responsible for BREXIT, Mr. Boris Johnson, has swiftly separated himself from leading the country. Its hilarious. I think he just realized how deep of a sh!t he has pushed the country into.
Re: BREXIT polls: where does Pakistani community stand?
My question to brits is, can this decision be reversed? Whether through another referendum or some othe way?
Everyone whom i've heard on Radio etc says its not possible while I'm still reading about its possibility in news.
To get back in its a long process
Firstly British has to wait for two years to get completely out of EU then EU will come up with changing policies for UK citizens
Secondly after two years if UK wants to be a part of EU again then they have to apply and all the other 26 27 countries in EU have to agree on it too so its a long process to get back into the EU for british now
However I think they wont come back into EU now and the crisis they have to deal with it themselves
EU doesnt need UK anymore and UK doesnt need EU too to survive
