The thing is., even though the whole idea is a bit macabre, I have no problem with girls pretending to b/f their dolls, girls have been doing it for centuries cos they watch and learn what their mummies did. Daddy fed babies with the bottles, mummy has breasts in order to feed the babies and that's why men and women are different. I have b/f all my kids and even now my toddler who is two mimics this and tries to do it to her dolls. I don't really have a problem with that it's the bra top with flowers that I find disturbing. Why can't kids be kids anymore?

I dont think that any mom or dad has problem with their little girls taking care of their dolls as they have seen moms taking care of their younger siblings. My younger one takes care of her dolls and tuck them in their small beds and holds them in her arm like we hold infants, but it stops pretty much there.

Nope, my toddler has seen other babies being b/fed at toddler groups and tries copying it at home. She can't 'see' herself being fed this way and has seen it on the Baby TV channel as well. You don't know what these toddlers will copy, you just have to make sure they don't copy by watching undesirable stuff. I really don't see the harm in that at all, its just the way these dolls have a horrible bra top included that makes it a bit disturbing.

I dont know about dolls, but I have seen toy puppies like that, you open the mommy from underneath and out come two little puppies

The dolll was introduced in spain in 2009 and was a hit there. Now they are introducing it in USA.
Man thank god that USA is a very conservative country as compared to many European country as there is a huge outrage against this doll in USA
Not all europeans are so open .. I saw this in german tv some months ago .. where they were too critising the idea of this doll.
