Niksik could you please stop comparing S3 with 4S they are not comparable. When iPhone 5 comes out then you should compare
Except iphone 5 isn't out yet so can't be compared. Niki is comparing two phones on the market. Ofcourse when the iphone 5 comes out it will be compared with S3.

But they are not comparable though. S3 is one generation ahead of Iphone. When iPhone 5 comes out then you can compare both phones. Would you compare 2011 BMW with 2012 Benz?

TLK please don't listen to them. Grass is always greener on the other side. People talk about ios way more restricted the android. Could you please tell me what is it that I cant do with iPhone that you can do with android?
I've used both phones... in fact, my own personal phone was an iPhone for the last three years, but now I've permanently switched to Android.
To answer your question:
What an iPhone can't do that an android can?
- True Multi-Tasking is the biggest one.
- Hardware features such as NFC and LED indicators
- Scalable storage (SD cards and such) - not a biggie though as I use dropbox for most stuff
What an iPhone won't do is a whole different story... too many things to name but here are a couple:
- customizability of the stock iPhone OS is top of mind for most people.
- For me, it's also the more accessible file storage system in Android
Don't get me wrong though... iPhones are great products and extremely good when it comes of ease-of-use, customer support and resale value, but you just can't make the phone "your own" - even after Jail Breaking. If you want customization, can't beat Androids.
I’ve used both the phones so Im in a position to compare unlike people who compare by Googlin’ . I’m given’ y’all hardcore real life straight from my experience comparisons.
Oh, and yeah I’ll be sure to start a thread when the iPhone5 comes out too.
I am more happy about the way an open source technology is kicking a money making technology’s behind . . . hahaha
Apart from hardware differences I think the whole game boils down to iOs Vs Android . . . or if I may say Java Vs Objective C . People with even a little bit programming background can tell you that Java rules . :k:
the hardware technology isn't open source. only the software is. and there are tons of crappy android phones that run the same open source stuff. what sets this phone apart as exceptional isn't the open source bit. and it is making samsung (who are just as tightassed about their technology as apple) rich.
Well everyone in this business IS for moola , no one is doing it for common good , but as hardware bit is not that obvious to an end user , so its always the software bit that presents the face of a device . That being said , I am still happier about Java gaining some market share . Apple literally is turning in to a white elephant with all this money :)
