OMG, I don’t know how to begin, but without further delay, I am pleased to announce that TLK is switching from iPhone to Samsung Galaxy S3.

No, it has nothing to do with me. Here are a few things that made him change his mind:

  1. T-mobile’s 4G network does NOT support iPhones.
  2. We were on a trip and we used my S3 for navigation. His iPhone, and like how shall I put it respectfully, sucked.
  3. The display. I mean you can’t even compare.
  4. I used S Voice and Siri and gave them a command together, Guess who pulled the information sooner? :blush:
  5. The camera. We took shots of the same landscapes, etc. S3 definitely has a better rez no doubt.
  6. Unlocked jailbroken iphones have too many issues. Upgrades are a mess. Phone freezes. Voicemail access is unpredictable.

Anyway, point is that, my Android friends, welcome him to the club.

I have absolutely nothing against iPhones… they’re great products in terms of usability (I still have one as a backup phone)… but unfortunately, can’t begin to give you the functionally satisfying experience of an android. In the end, some may be happy with usability but power users eventually end up going for functionality.

If TLK doesn’t like his S3, he can always sell it and buy the iPhone 5. It’s not like I’m not going to be giving him iftaar and sehri. :mad: It’s good to keep your options open :snooty:!

iPhone 5 will not bring anything new except a slightly bigger screen (4 or 4.1 inch) and NFC, we already have them.

Anyone tried GoogleNow? its currently a Jellybean only feature, the true competitor to Siri from Google
