Breaking news: Zarqawi dead

Re: Breaking news: Zarqawi dead

maybe if lawajab’s family was killed by zarqawi he would be more critical

Re: Breaking news: Zarqawi dead

Which one of the two is with Dar al Islam?

Was it Shaheed Abu Musab al Zarqawi (rah), who fought the coallition forces and who ever helped them, on the Land of Iraq and prevented Iraq from becoming another Shia stronghold like Iran,

Or is it these mozlems, who are sitting in USA, Canada, England etc. and fueling their economies and feuling the West's war against Islam with their tax money, engaging in Riba (interest), and then they have the guts to come on GS, and call the Mujahideen of our times, terrorists and killers and barbarians.

But it doesn't matter, as they say, "the Caravan is moving and the dogs are barking". We let the dogs bark.

Re: Breaking news: Zarqawi dead

^ Before you move off with your caravan..

There is no Quran or Sunnah basis for “Dar al Islam” and “Dar al Harb”. If you persist in seeing the world through concepts introduced by ulema (however sagely) around 150 years after the death of the Prophet, that is another thing, but these terms were not a part of the revealed religion of Islam.

when it comes to dividing Muslims you lot are very quick to reject “innovation”, however not if one of these “innovations” can be used to further alienate Muslims from each other.

Re: Breaking news: Zarqawi dead

You go ravage

“The West” is not an idiot like the majority of the Muslim population.. they are cunning and plan ahead. They have siezed upon this moronic population that believes everything coming out of their mullahs *** and cling to it as religion and created heroes for them.

They feed the same heroes and get them to destroy and maim the very Muslims they’re supposed to be representing, yet Muslim idiots cheer them on!!

Re: Breaking news: Zarqawi dead

Ravage, I have told you before and I will say it again…

You are one of the rare people on this board whose intellect and insight into things I have always admired…You have a wonderful way of looking at things objectively and presenting them logically…

Posts like the one I am quoting from you, don’t suit your persona…

Read the links…In the first link, the voice is ‘attributed’ and in the second it says could not be authenticated…

Tell me honestly, is that proof enough of a man’s guilt as the west would like you to believe?

Re: Breaking news: Zarqawi dead

Thank you for the compliments Lajjo, Im flattered :D , but I just want to establish what exactly you think about this.

But you seemed to suggest the yahoo link (in the other thread on his last tape) was the "western media" that was slandering against Zarqawi's character? But both Aljazeera and the AP report yahoo cited referenced this "islamic website" or "internet" whatever that is) as the source of this tape.

This then means that the fabrication is not occurring in western media, but from the Islamic website. As I understand it, most if not all of Zarqawi's communications that we have been recieving have been through that channel. Do you then suppose this channel to be false, and that the whole personna we know of Zarqawi is therefore fabricated?

Sorry if this doesnt make sense ive had a long day

Re: Breaking news: Zarqawi dead

That is not reason enough to regard someone "shaheed", is it? I for one cannot regard anyone a shaheed or a full terrorist until it is confirmed to me from all sources and I let Allah swt be the final Judge.

Re: Breaking news: Zarqawi dead

What are you trying to say? That he did not kill innocent people, and did not call for sectarian killings in Iraq?

Re: Breaking news: Zarqawi dead

Yes exactly likes of him are the modern day kharijites
Ali(as) once was asked about them by a companion

companion:are they infidels?
Ali denied it

companion:arethey hypocrites
Ali:how can they be hypocrites, hypocrites remember Allah a little while these people call Him day and night

companion:then what kind of people are they
Ali:they are a people who have become trapped in sedition and thus have become deaf and blind....

..they are obsessed with the concept that their can be only be true muslim or infidels ( and anyone who disagrees with their type of Islam is an heretic)

However Ali (as) said that they are still better than those who prefer a worldly life since kharijites seek the truth but are misguided whereas hypocrites willingly seek falsehood

Re: Breaking news: Zarqawi dead

You mean, Muslims like Lajawab who is in fact a hypocrite then?

Re: Breaking news: Zarqawi dead

People like Zarqawi argue that while targeting Americans, it is ok if some innocent people are killed. To them, they are merely “collateral damage”. Zarqawi killed his own co-religionists and countrymen.

“Al-Qaida Claims Responsibility for Jordan Bombings”](http://www.voanews.com/english/archive/2005-11/2005-11-10-voa9.cfm?CFID=19668457&CFTOKEN=92740470)
The group linked to Jordanian terror mastermind Abu Musab al-Zarqawi says it carried out the bomb attacks…
Jordanian officials say a number of foreigners are among the dead, but most of the casualties are Jordanian.
The blast at the Swedish-owned Radisson hit a wedding party. Reports from Amman say the father of the bride and the father of the groom were both killed, and many other members of both families were seriously injured.

Zarqawi was denounced by his own family:
Family severs ties with al-Zarqawi
Family members of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi have renounced the Jordanian-born Al-Qaida in Iraq chief, telling King Abdullah II that they would sever links with him until doomsday.
“We announce, and all the people are our witnesses, that we - the sons of the al-Khalayleh tribe - are innocent of him and all that emanates from him, whether action, assertion or decision.”

Re: Breaking news: Zarqawi dead

Curbing insurgency and Iraqi Government taking control will bring a peaceful Iraq, not Zarqawi's death. The fact that he can behead no more Nicholas Bergs, and others, is cause for satisfaction.

Re: Breaking news: Zarqawi dead

If he resisted coalitian forces and defended Iraqi land from the US then there is no problem with that...

But thats not what Zarqawi did is it?...This thug was more concerned with creating a civil war...The shias were as much an enemy to him as the US were...he didnt only want to rid Iraq of the Americans but the Shias aswell...And this is what i deplore about this man...I have no issues with those defending Muslim land but this man was killing Muslims...He was also a little headline grabber with his beheadings and hostage taking...More concerned about his own needs and ego than fighting the coalitian...so for me its good riddance...

Re: Breaking news: Zarqawi dead

Its sad that people are so happy about the deaths...this "eye for an eye" type of retribution will just continue and escalate for generations. It would have been better that he be captured and the life of his wife and little girl spared. Let justice take its course in an unbiased court. He was not a good man but there is not one among us who can justify putting him to death. Thats the job of God/Allah I think.

Re: Breaking news: Zarqawi dead

Did you guys read the interview of the guy whose son's throat was slit by zarqavi after he was kidnapped. He said that he isnt happy Zarqawi was killed as he is against the notion of killing, even though zarqavi was the reason he lost his son. Ill try to find the link again.

Re: Breaking news: Zarqawi dead

He is one of the very few Arab journalists I respect.

Excellent article about Zarqawi.

Sad when Nawai-waqt calls Zarqawi a martry when he was clearly the bloodiest terrorist in History.

Our Condolences

12/06/2006

Clearly, many in the Arab world were shocked by the death of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the “Boss of all evils” in Baghdad. The murderer of women, children, young and old, Sunnis and Shiites, Sayyids and Sheikhs, Arabs as well as foreigners. The masterminded responsible, for last year’s bombings in Amman that killed sixty innocent people in three weddings., the man who couldn’t tell the difference between bird hunting and cold blooded murder.
His role as a corruptor was well documented, bearing in mind that his last message to the world encouraged civil war in Iraq. Yet despite all this, there are those who were saddened and shocked by his death. To them we should extend condolences.
Our deepest sympathies go out to all the fundamentalist websites, particularly Alsaha.com. Our sympathies also go out to all the conspiracy theorists, who said that Al-Zarqawi was a fictional character created by the Americans, to justify their shortcomings in Iraq at the expense of innocent Iraqi and Jordanian lives.
One particular conspiracy theorist that use to always call Zarqawi an illusion, said upon hearing the news of his death, that now America’s act will spawn many more Zarqawi’s more dangerous then their prototype.
We should also comfort the wounded Arab Media, which has lost a major source for extremist videotapes. These recordings became the benchmark of excellence in our industry, where the criterion for success was set by the most ignorant of individuals, particularly when it comes to standards of professionalism in journalism.
We sympathize with all of them. The writers, journalists and the TV channels. An honorable mention should go out to our friends at Al-Jazeera, who refused to answer a simple question by one of our journalists about why their Zarqawi coverage seemed slanted. Their reply; “we do not wish to speak or deal with Asharq Al-Awsat.”
I do not know if this was their genuine position, our just a byproduct of the shock they are going through, but it is important to point out that an Iraqi viewer named Hassan Salman called on a live program on Al-Jazeera, and said the following; " I value this channel. However, I hope you commit yourselves to objectivity. The Iraqi people are celebrating the death of Zarqawi while you are holding a funeral in your channel."
Of course, we do not expect our friends in Doha to alter their coverage of Al-Zarqawi just for our sake, baring in mind that we published a piece on al Zarqawi that included some sympathetic elements, However, we can never claim that Al Zarqawi spent his days busy encouraging Iraqis to read more, grow better harvest or build schools.
Al Zarqawi’s hands are smeared with the blood of Muslims from all sects. Homes, schools, houses of worship and even relief organizations that worked to help the Iraqi people were not safe from his blood lust. How could an entire media organization ignore this?
It is because of this that we extend our condolences to those who followed and loved Zarqawi, as well as those who had high hopes for him. We say these not out of sympathy or spite, but rather to document our position for the record, since the most distinctive features of our nations are absentmindedness and negligence.

Re: Breaking news: Zarqawi dead

Surely he cannot match the terroroism of Bush and Blair in Eyeraq and Afghansitan.

Re: Breaking news: Zarqawi dead

The newspaper Alsharq al-Aswat is owned by the corrupt Saudi royal family. This very paper is full of praises for the royal family. Naturally this sycophant of an editor has to smear Al Zarqawi to earn his bread and butter.

The article would have been well balanced had he also mentioned the terrorism of Bush and poodle Blair.

Akhbar ko dayikh kar parah karo

Al Zarqawi’s reward is with Allah Almighty.

Re: Breaking news: Zarqawi dead

So Zainiest....you say that the article would be "well balanced" if it had also named Bush & Blair as terrorists - this means that you DO feel that Zarquawi was terrorist, killed many etc etc. But its ok because Bush & Blair got away with it and for THAT reason, Zarquawi gets into heaven????

I see a bit of a flaw in your logic here....

and ps, its just this kind of logic that helps to ensure and perpetuate all the killing, war and hatred - something we're all giving to our next generation to carry on. What a shame.
