Whats wrong with playing 20-20 once in a while.
I think he just wants media attention.
Trying to steal the thunder, from the victorious team.
I am nothing against him. He is a much better captain than Malik or Inzimam, and thats why i am upset.
the next WC T20 is only after couple of months. in APRIL 2010, we needed Younis as a captain at least till then..Pakistan needs to retain its supremecy… else, just imagine what Indian media will do to us…
. Am pretty sure that Younis is not aware of the schedule of the next WC T20…

This is Pakistani team we are talking about ek victory k baad saab k par nikal ate hain. Just like in '92...Younis did well to bow out in grace and focus on his and team's ODI and Test performance. We need to win the next ICC World Cup.
Moreover, like he said he is too old to play this type of Cricket and he himself is not found of T20 cricket, even after the winning the cup.

Wow, so Pakistan has this title only for 9 months. There is Asia Cup in early April and then Twenty20 in same months.
it was decided long before… … The Champions trophy 2010 in WI has been changed to T20 WC 2010…cause the CT08 in Pakistan was shifted to England 09, so there was no choice of having two CT so soon.. but the guys decided to have Two T20’s in a short span… So Pakistan’s glory could be short term, if PCB does not take necessary actions to retain the winning team combination… A lot would be expected from this team of Pakistan next year…
glad , you also got that at the same time I did…I dont think Asia cup would be held or it would be shifted completely to either India or SL…any ways… PCB has to start thinking from now on… cause 9 months is a very short period of time… The proper combination needs to be set up from now on…
