I can tell you why they are concerned. They are concerned becasue they, like the parent of the guy in this story, came over from Pakistan, and applied for legal residence here, promising that they would abide by the laws of this country. Now, this guy with his hatred of jews (just like the sentiment in your post) fires at innocent people because they are of the same religion as the people of Israel. It would be natural for the expatriate Pakistanis to be concerned (as they should be) lest this is taken as representative of expatriate Pakistanis’ sentiments toward jews, and their propensity to resort to violence. And they should be concerned, and actively disassociate themselves from this act.
If however, they don’t want to be “dominated” (as you put it), they should perhaps live “honorably” in their actual homeland, Pakistan, without any fears of domination or backlash. Makes sense doesn’t it? If you wanna live here, don’t bite the hand that feeds you, and also, don’t have sympathies for people who do bite the hand that feeds you.
I am an expat Pakistani, and I strongly feel that before approving immigration to U.S., my fellow Pakistanis should be made to take an oath specifically stating that if they are ever distrubed by the Political affiliations of U.S., they can go home and live with honor, but not engage in acts of violence in U.S. or even have sympathies towards who do.

You **should **voice your disagreements LOUD and CLEAR, and be proud of it too, no matter how radical they might be. In fact, you already often do it, and no mob has come to your door to persecute you for your disagreements. Isn’t that beautiful?
However, if living in this country and disagreeing with some of its international policies puts you in such a moral conflict that you find it acceptable (hypothetical example, i know you dont) to resort to violent means against your fellow citizens, or have sympathies toward those who commit violent acts, then you should be able to do the following:
(a) if you are an expatriate, you should go to your original homeland.
(b) if you are a born citizen, you should continue living here, but know that any acts of violence would be and sould be treated as a crime. This applies not just in U.S., but everywhere. If you live in Saudi Arabia, and are so mad at the country that you carry sympathies toward people firing at innocent Saud Arabian civlians, then you should know that you are supporting criminals.
However in this case PhatBalongri, you should be proud that you have categorically called these shootings a crime against innocent civilians. You have nothing to be ashamed of, as you have showed moral courage to identify this act as a crime, even though the murderer claimed he did it in the name of our religion. No justifications, no ifs and buts.
Loss of lives and property of innocent civilians in Lebanon is to be condemned, as is the loss of innocnet lives anywhere in the world, including this incident. Islam should and, does provide unconditional peace to all human beings without their race or religion (unless of course you belong to the Lajawab sect).

Seeing that Lajawab is in such a moral conflict living in the West, shouldn't we start a fund to cover his return back to a Muslim country of his choice that can accomodate his lifestyle and does not strain his conscience either.
Lajawab: All your tax dollars are being used to support crimes against Muslims. What you gonna do about it? Is you love for money and a luxurious lifestyle so intense that you are not willing to move to a country where you don't have to face nudity on streets, your kids aren't tempted to drink and go to bars, and your tax dollars aren't used in commiting crimes against Muslims? Surely there must be a Muslim country that better protects your Muslim lifestyle than America?

May Lajawab have the courage to read the verse of Quran that states that killing of one innocent is tantamount to killing the entire humanity. Nowhere it says that it's true only when the victim is a Muslim.
Open your heart Lajawab. Weep for the victims, but for all victims, not just for Muslims. Stand up against violence, against all violence, not just that is being committed against your people. Stand up for justice, for everybody, not just for your people, pray for peace, everywhere in the world, not just for Muslims. Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) was supposed to a blessing to all mankind, not just to Muslims. Don't monopolize the prophet and the religion he preached.
May God bless the souls of victims of this incident, as well as people who lost lives in various political conflicts all around the world, MUSLIMS and NON MUSLIMS (get that Lajawab), and may God save this world from continution of this violence. Amen.

I knew before even opening this thread that someone must have supported the criminal or defended him.
This is the problem. There are muslims among us who still think its OK to kill innocent people just to get their political point across. I mean, whatever happened to the power of the pen? I guess muslims are so uneducated these days that the idea of writing an essay or article to express their thoughts is so...unreachable. Therefore, they resort to violence to get their point across.
Instead, all they do is make muslims look worse. For every 100,000 good acts that muslims in America commit, it only takes one dumbarse like this bozo to erase all that.
