The guy on Geo TV (some guy from Jamaait Islami) is implying India may be behind the blasts. He says that it happened just a week after Delhi blasts, so there could be a link.
And amazingly actually seemed to defend the home-grown extremists saying America's actions can turn any well-meaning person against Pakistan.

The PM must be sh*tting in his pants at the thought that something like this could so easily have happened (and could still) at his official residence. The presidency/aiwan-sadr has a huge front lawn. So Zardari might feel more safe there :)

A new twist in the news... as per an eye witness, one small car came and hit the gate, and a man came out from that car started to shout and warn every one to run..... he specially shouted that you have **three minutes of time. **then there was siren and a big explosion in the truck that followed up..
surely it shows a very well master minded planned. But apparently, the attackers knew that many very poor and innocent ppl were around so they warned them to run.
Seems it is a warning to CIA, Zardari, PM, etc.
In security/intelligence agencies, a petty official is like a king so how can they tolerate their status is scraped which theu enjoyed since 1980s.

Sadly the fire brigade department is not well equipped and the fire could not be controlled.
The rulers do have money for bullet proof cars but not for something as essential as fire safety systems.
