Breaking news: 'Plot to blow up planes' foiled

Re: Breaking news: 'Plot to blow up planes' foiled

^^

Or turn that theory around!

Pakistan was added in this publicity stunt to convince our mAd_ScIeNtIsT and a few others...

Guess it worked huh?

Re: Breaking news: ‘Plot to blow up planes’ foiled

There’s no sense in that. Pakistan does not undermine itself.

Backing my argument, is my country’s government, who I have no reason do doubt. Who’s backing your argument? Your gut feeling? Your hunch? :cb:

Re: Breaking news: 'Plot to blow up planes' foiled

I guess...it all happened by chance...a brit aka Rauf was caught at the Aghfan-Pak border for whatever reasons (just one week ago)...and he spit the whole thing...Pakistan warned UK to investigate which lead to the arrests of some 24 people at UK soil...

Now UK minister claimed they have been working on this alleged plot for months...while the lead in Pakistan just shot last week according the Pakistan Foreign Minister...a contradictory timings...

Its funny...the British PM briefed the US president on that matter...but he is still enjoying his holidays in the Carrebian...is it a pretty cooked up story and just relax...no way...I think...hmmmm

Re: Breaking news: ‘Plot to blow up planes’ foiled

No, you’re getting 2 leads mixed up. The lead that started the investigation was over a year ago. They claim to have begun tracking the group then as they were suspected of planning an attack.

Pakistan arrested 2 people from that group last week and found the lead that the planned attack was in the immediate future, which is what made Britain wrap up the investigation and make the arrests.

The idea that Pakistan is part of a secret pro-Israel conspiracy is, frankly, laughable. From the beginning of the crisis Pakistan has demanded an immediate ceasefire; in doing so it adopted a harder line than even Saudi Arabia which started by saying that Hezbollah deserved it.

Re: Breaking news: 'Plot to blow up planes' foiled

MS, come on don't fight the conspiracy theorists, join them!

(looks pretty silly from the other side doesn't it?)

Re: Breaking news: 'Plot to blow up planes' foiled

It looks silly when the known facts don't support the theory. I still stick by everything I said about the 7/7 bombings. Those were, and still are, very fishy indeed.

Re: Breaking news: 'Plot to blow up planes' foiled

Some of the 7/7 bombers had video tapes vowing attacks, that's a fact.

Re: Breaking news: ‘Plot to blow up planes’ foiled

I believe it was one of them, the oldest guy.

Re: Breaking news: 'Plot to blow up planes' foiled

Yes and there was a second video from one of the other bombers as well.

Re: Breaking news: 'Plot to blow up planes' foiled

Please don't comment on this until I have given my opinion first, which will come out in a week or two.

Also I would like to know whether there were 24 or 25 magnificent individuals involved.

Re: Breaking news: ‘Plot to blow up planes’ foiled

slow typist eh?

Re: Breaking news: ‘Plot to blow up planes’ foiled

I am going to wait for more information to be released concerning the event unlike the people who are towing the zionist controlled media’s slant. Heres some food for thought:

Re: Breaking news: 'Plot to blow up planes' foiled

Huh? The Israel conflict is over a month old, Israel doesn't give 2 sh1ts if you're paying attention to it or not.

Re: Breaking news: 'Plot to blow up planes' foiled

If the Israeli invasion and disproportionate bombardment of and civilians massacre in Lebanont was not happening, some would try and say that this is intended to hide the dog's turd mess the US is making of Iraq.

Re: Breaking news: 'Plot to blow up planes' foiled

^ Yes, no one ever said the Muslim world can't ever find material to concoct conspriacy theories.

Re: Breaking news: 'Plot to blow up planes' foiled

One of the suspects has already been released.

****‘Civilians Put At Risk’](The Latest News from the UK and Around the World | Sky News)

Tony Blair has been urged to change UK foreign policy by a group of senior British Muslims.
In an open letter, they argue that current government policy encourages extremism and may put British citizens at risk of attack, both in the UK and abroad.
The letter also encourages Mr Blair to step up efforts to bring an end to the violence in the Middle East.
The letter appears as a full-page advert in some of Saturday’s national newspapers.
The 38 Muslim groups which signed the letter include the Muslim Council of Britain, the Muslim Association of Britain, the British Muslim Forum, the British Muslim Forum and the Muslim Solidarity Committee.
Other signatories include three Muslim MPs - Sadiq Khan, Shahid Malik and Mohammed Sarwar - and three Muslim members of the House of Lords - Lord Patel of Blackburn, Lord Ahmed of Rotherham and Baroness Uddin.
The letter reads:
Prime Minister,
As British Muslims we urge you to do more to fight against all those who target civilians with violence, whenever and wherever that happens.
It is our view that current British government policy risks putting civilians at increased risk both in the UK and abroad.
To combat terror the government has focused extensively on domestic legislation. While some of this will have an impact, the government must not ignore the role of its foreign policy.
The debacle of Iraq and now the failure to do more to secure an immediate end to the attacks on civilians in the Middle East not only increases the risk to ordinary people in that region, it is also ammunition to extremists who threaten us all.
Attacking civilians is never justified. This message is a global one. We urge the Prime Minister to redouble his efforts to tackle terror and extremism and change our foreign policy to show the world that we value the lives of civilians wherever they live and whatever their religion.
Such a move would make us all safer.
