Name of captain of the aircraft is stated as Pervez Iqbal Choudhry.

GEO has reported a newly wed couple was also amongst the passengers who lost their lives ... :( Their marriage held on July 23, 2010 ...

8 members from a same family (Abbotabad) ... They were also on their way to attend a funeral 2:30pm ...

Local resident of Karachi ... Husband/Wife/3 children also died ...

yeah it was really bad happening. and specailly also for parents whose daught just ammried 3 days ago and left the world. very bad and emotional moments.

As i am not satisfied from them. caz whenever they show on tv either live or recorded the team member just r visiting the place. and roaming around the engine of plane.

I mean according to the amna a geo news reporter, when she reached some bodies r burnt and some r not. that time they should things quickly. and save the bodies from more burnt. and speed up after 1 or 2 pm. i am saying all only from the source of tv. as i saw tv almost all day all tv channels.

marna har aik ne hai, ay kaash ke hamare hukmuraan hosh ke nakhun lain ... They are having their own charter planes but for the left over family members there was no arrangments :(

It seems it was pilot error...the pilot was warned to stay away from Margalla hills...he was supposed to circle the airport instead he headed into the city.

How tragic it is. 13 people going to funerals yet the journey becomes theirs.

An entire family is lost. The poor kids must have been screaming.

Newly weds - all that happiness and all those celebrations but end result indeed is the daughter leaving hoem forever never to come back.

So many families would have been waiting with joy to see people they may have not seen for ages.

So many people may have travelled to start a new life.

Some were lucky not to have boarded the flight due to whatever reason.

Its just so sad. So many families and friends would be feeling beyond despair.

Dhonki sounds like a Baloch family. Its a name I have never heard before. I googled it and it appears to have Baloch-ish connections.

This family must be going through hell on earth now. I hope Allah ta Allah makes their suffering less painful.

It is raining heavily before Fajr and it is continuous here in Pindi Islamabad so rescue work will be more difficult
