Sad indeed, and scary because I have flown on this particular Airblue flight Isb-Khi flight lots of times... The last time there was a crash in Islamabad was back in 1986 when a PIA flight landed without the landing gear, but there were no casualties. I still vaguely remember we went and saw the plane sitting in the middle (had landed flat on its bottom surface)... I also heard there was lots of rain in Islamabad yesterday.
I can tell right away, with my familiarity with these hills, that there’s no way they could have mounted a very quick rescue operation because you cant get any vehicles here. They must have had to use heli’s to drop people and examine the wreckage . Rescue people would have made it here after about an hour or two of hiking.
If you look at the names in the list, many share the same last name. They must have been from same families. Specifically Mona Dhonki, Mehlee Dhonki, Amir Dhonki, Afshan Dhonki.
very tragic incident indeed, Speechless. ![]()
it seems as this was the first major decision made by Allah Almighty regarding the lives of 152 unfortunate ppl at Shab-e-Barat.
Infact, ye sb Allah k feslay hein,
man can do nothing about it except condolenses.
everyone has to go on his/her term

Allah does not make these decisions at Shab-e-Barat. Life & Death is written for each soul before even they are born.

Actually, I noticed the same thing. How sad indeed for the family to have 4 members die.

Re: Breaking News: Plane crashes in Islamabad
Imagine, how most of these people must have been planning for Ramadan? Imagine, if it was us? Are we ready to die and meet Allah, will He be please with us? This serves as a reminder for all of us who are alive, that we dont know when our time will come. If we should live till this Ramadan, we should try our best to get Allah's forgiveness and pleasure because we don know if we will live to see the next one. And we should change our life forever to be seeking his pleasure alone inshaAllah.
