LONDON: Following the 13th consecutive defeat of Pakistan from Australia in Test cricket, chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ijaz Butt has called Mohammad Yousuf for the tour of England.
Sources said that the PCB chairman has asked former captain Yousuf to take back retirement on which the veteran batsman agreed in the interest of the country and the nation.
It may be recalled that Yousuf was banned for an indefinite period after the tour of Australia after which he announced to retire from all forms of cricket.
After the two-Test series against Australia in England, Pakistan cricket team will play a four-Test series against England.

btw. Cricinfo is reporting that Butt sahab is denying any such contact with Yousuf and Younis. Cricinfo is quoting Butt sahab saying "its only first test. I have not contacting any of these 2"

Well a lot of other sources are saying that Butt has indeed contacted Yousuf however has not heard back anything from yousuf yet.
With all this due respect to yousuf, this is the exact situation he wanted for his come back. Remember when he announced his retirement, he said that he is* filhal *retiring from test cricket and then couldn’t explain to journalists what his filhal meant?? The ideal situation for him to come back was PCB asking him to come so that he can say, see I took my decision back not because I wanted to be back but because they wanted me to come back.
