ABU DHABI: Noted Pakistani TV anchor Moeed Pirzada](http://www.samaa.tv/pakistan/07-Aug-2015/pakistani-anchor-moeed-pirzada-detained-in-uae) was arrested in United Arab Emirate, Foreign Office confirmed. Foreign Office spokesman Qazi Khalilullah said that Pirzada was arrested by Abu Dhabi police on August 4.

Some sources are suggesting Pirzada was arrested for “forging property documents.”
