Embarrassment how? Without ISI Bin Laden would still be making you wet your pants and your fellow Americans at night. Pakistan has made a lot of sacrifices towards the war on terror and it's time people recognize our efforts.

Obama specifically said only US forces took part in operation with his authorization..and then a helicopter was crashed in the morning in the same area which Express TV was saying look like Afghani chopper.. Certainly an embarrassment for Pakistan, thank God he wasn't found in Islamabad, 50 km is not a long distance..

WOT is going to continue with or without Bin laden. Bin Laden was merely a symbolic figure head. You can kill the terrorist but can't kill terrorism. This will only prompt kids to join terrorist groups. Expect an increase of terrorist attacks on Pakistan as well as drone attacks. The fact that he was in Pakistan a few hours away from the nation's capital is equally bad and will damage the little international rep we had. Expect Indian and American media to pounce and degrade us on that matter. As I before Pakistan is going to face dark times ahead.

How it is embarassment for ISI/Pak Mil, Pakistan never denied existence of these elements in Pakistan, Pakistan Army is operating against these elements in Pakistan.. however, it is strange that Osama chose Pakistan to hide, where he was being hunted down and searched every second...
It suppose to happen before the withdrawal of the US-Forces from Afghanistan, now US can say that, Mission accomplished, they have killed the main culprit of Sept-11, now they can go home proud and their heads up... Obama needed it badly for his upcoming election and to boost his political career, US, needed it to rap up the things in Afghanistan and leave with dignity intact...
As of now, the WOT have served its pupose, Osama has been killed, now americans should look forward to rebuild their economy and leave the region alone... just leave our region now...

lets be honest....it is embarassing for pak...very embarassing....so the compound was 8 times bigger than other houses.....it had 12 ft high walls....people living there used to burn their trash....there was no phone or tv connection there......and apparently he was there since 2005.....so who was managing this compound?....life is going to be very tough for ISI in coming days................

Yep this all seems sketchy to me. I'm not a conspiracy theorist or anything but hiding in a tourist town near the nation's capital? Obama's ratings were falling drastically and now he's a hero. Invasion of Afghanistan was called a flop and now a success.
But unfortunately even if they leave our region the terrorists wont. There will always be the presence of terrorists in Pakistan even if the majority flee to Afghanistan. This would only make Afghanistan more worse and unstable which is not good for us. Somehow I just don't see terrorism in Pakistan ending well at least for 5-10 years that is. This decade will just be a repeat of the 90s. Corrupt democratic parties ruling the country and looting it with no progress taking place.

ISI is intelligence agency with resources all around world, had they wanted to hide Osama, they could have hidden him anywhere in the world, any place where US cannot think about it, getting new passport and new face is not something difficult, Osama could have been in Malaysia, Indonesia or anywhere in the world, with all the facilities and leaving no clue to Americans, who ever hunting him down in Pakistan & Afghanistan...
But because he was not supported by Intelligence agency ( ISI) that is why he was living there ( if living ) without any television or Telephone connection, we was virtually serving a sentence, where we was not been able to communicate nor does he was able to watch what is going on... an Intelligence agency like ISI would not hide him in its own back-yard.. they won't do it in million years...
On top of everything, Osama, never trusted ISI nor did he cooperated with them, he was direct connection of CIA since day one and in the rainy days he still didn't had any connection with ISI ( which he said was his secret to survive)...
My guessing is that Osama was long dead, he had major kidney failure and he needed dialysis, the most wanted criminal cannot afford to have such kind of disease.. there was reason why Osama never appeared in any video for long.. now by producing his dead body and pronoucing him dead only serves one purpose, Americans can move back home earlier then anticipated with their heads high...

I agree that terrorist will continue to exist, but think about it, how long these terrorist will survive with their god-father gone for good, remember Fazlullah, he is hiding in Afghanistan, Hakeem ullah Mehsood went to Afghanistan when Pakistani military pushed him in the corner.. once Americans are gone, Pakistani Army and Intelligence can take care of these terrorists, looking at the track record of the Army ( SWAT and NWA operation) it may take 10-12 months to wipe out these terrorists...
All we want is US leave the region... our tribals in North can easily take care of anti-Pakistan terrorists hide-outs there, with no US in Afghanistan, India would have little ground to support any militancy in Pakistan specially in Balochistan region..

in that case, the time of death would be some years back ( 2004 or 2005) the reason of death would be related to kidney failure... but now it would be bullet wounds

ok so another conspiracy theory already in play..............how could ISI hide osama in malaysia or anyother country? ISI is well connected but nothing in comparison to CIA who is much more resourceful on a global basis..CIA would have easily figured it out...the best bet for ISI was to hide osama somewhere in pak where they have full control of all the issues....and they did exactly that by placing him in abbotabad which is a military base (very few civilians, small isolated town) and therefore it was much easy to control the issues....
and if osama was dead long time ago, whose dead body is america going to display now? I am sure that would be a fake dead body too....
