Adding to above, i have no doubt about the service of the Abdul Qadir GIllani ( the real one) for Islam but the way his generation have used his name, i guess that will neutralize all the services he had done... This goes for all other guddi nasheens

Not charged. He is issued a show cause notice. FAIL.
Well, it means charged in criminal justice sense. When notice is issued, it is a charge sheet for the contempt of Court. The person is then asked to put his case, excuses or apology.
Similarly when one is charged in a criminal proceedings he doesn't become criminal but a criminal proceedings started against him. He has the right for representations and to context the charges.
Gilani in plain Legal sense is charged for contempt by issue of the notice.
If he fails to appear personally and either defend his refusal to write the letter to Swiss Authorities for over two years or apologise (depending if SC accept his apology) he could be sent to Jail straight away by the SC, if they feel he is deliberately not complied with SC order for him to present himself in the Court.
I tell you one more moot point, we know that today other parties with PPP have decided to back the Motion presented in the NA by ANP, every MNA who vote for that motion and back PM against the SC could be charged for contempt by SC and dismissed from the NA under sub classes of article 63 of the Constitution.

what are the contents of the resolution? does it says that whatever PM or President does is right? or writing to Swiss Court or accepting and implementing orders from SC is OK???

Again petty. Why would I worry about traffic on my blog? I am not making any money out of it, so I don’t care at all. I already said my blogs get traffic naturally from those who know my blog for years they regularly visit. Getting as many as 300 visits on some days.
You better try next time.

**ISLAMABAD, Jan 13 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Friday urged the parliamentarians to join hands for strengthening democratic institutions and the Parliament.Referring to the resolution, moved in the National Assembly by leader of Awami National Party Asfand Yar Wali Khan in support of democracy, the Prime Minister told the House, “The resolution is not against any institution, against judiciary or army.”The Prime Minister vowed that the resolution is just to support the democratic process and for continuity of parliamentary system in the country.“You should protect yourself, you should protect the Parliament,” said the Prime Minister directly giving the message to the members of the Parliament.
Gilani said the present session of National Assembly has not been summoned to seek support from opposition for the government or against any other institution.

So would that mean they will implement all Resolutions approved by the house???
and if Gillani is not begging the for support, then why the session has been called??? ofcourse they are not going to tell or discuss their plans are they?
Anyway, the resolution would mean nothing… and would be treated like any other resolution… let us look forward to PM’s response on the notice issued..
