Pakistan need the support of Imran Khan and Wasim Akram, they are very popular in the english cricle along with Mushtaq Ahmed(Mushi) and Waseem Raja who is very popular even being a Pakistani. I heard in the news (bbc [urdu]) that Pakistan (PCB) has consulted couple british lawyers already.
Re: Breaking News: Finally Mr. Hair has opened his mouth
Yes thats correct - apparently a meeting took place between the lawyers and the Pakistan side on Tuesday.
Below is a link to the law firm being hired:

People will pay for vilifying me: Hair :omg: :omg:
Australian umpire Darrell Hair has vowed “people will pay” for his vilification during the current ball-tampering debate.
Hair was at the centre of a storm when he awarded England victory on forfeit over Pakistan at The Oval when the visitors refused to take the field in protest at being docked runs for ball tampering.
Pakistan have lodged a written objection to Hair as an umpire, with long-standing ill-feeling between the Australian umpire and the sub-continent teams.
Now Hair has vowed revenge against those who have pointed the finger of blame at him for the abandoned Test.
“I’ll be putting a lot to my side when this is all over,” Hair said in The Independent.
“I have been vilified by virtually everybody here and when the truth comes out a lot of people will pay.”
Asked if he thought umpiring was under threat, Hair made it plain that he blamed the media for the problem.
“There’s a lot of things under threat and you people (the media) are probably responsible for a lot of them, so take a good hard look and maybe you might understand that a lot of the problems in the world are caused by the media and not the people who are actually doing a job.”
Hair is adamant he will contest any accusations against him when the inquiry into The Oval debacle is heard, at a date yet to be determined.
“I stand by what I have done but if anything comes out at the inquiry that proves me incorrect I would accept that too,” Hair told News Limited.
"The process would have been followed.
“The International Cricket Council have given me outstanding support and it has really been appreciated.”
Hair said he would not be run out of cricket, in response to his perceived problems with the powerful block of Asian nations, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
“If people want to try and force me out of the game it has to be done in some shape or form that I am unaware of because I am contracted to do a job and I know I am doing it quite well at the moment so far as the ins and outs are concerned,” Hair said.
“If other people have issues they want to use to force me out it will be an interesting battle.”
Re: Breaking News: Finally Mr. Hair has opened his mouth
Hair should not be the target of our criticism, hatred or ire at all...because for every hair, there are characters like Doctrove and Koertzen, who are not any better then Hair...
The problem is the system, i.e. ICC's persistence and full backing of these clearly incompetent, biased, and extremely rigid umpires and PCB's willingness to keep bending over...
Re: Breaking News: Finally Mr. Hair has opened his mouth
He is counting on people buying his books after the saga is over, hence “people will pay” ![]()
Re: Breaking News: Finally Mr. Hair has opened his mouth
He is right...the only party coming out of this episode with any losses is Pakistani cricket...Hair would continue to umpire, read screw, even in Pakistani matches...SK and his ilk at the PCB as well the team would continue to take it in the rear...
Re: Breaking News: Finally Mr. Hair has opened his mouth
Just as I said, Hair would continue even in Pakistan matches…only loser is Pakistani cricket…

ICC rejects Pakistan’s Hair plea

The International Cricket Council has refused a request from Pakistan to stop umpire Darrell Hair from standing in future matches involving their team.
Chief executive Malcolm Speed said: "It remains the role of the ICC and not our members to appoint umpires.
“The appointments are made without fear or favour.”
Pakistan were incensed by Hair’s decision to penalise them for ball-tampering during the fourth Test against England last Sunday.
And the team’s decision to remain in their dressing room instead of taking the field following the tea interval resulted in Hair and colleague Billy Doctrove awarding the game to England by forfeit.
Speed said it was “hugely regrettable” that the game at The Oval, in which Pakistan had the upper hand, did not end with a “great finish in front of a full house.”
But he reiterated that on-field umpires were the “sole judges of fair and unfair play, the ultimate arbiters” as “enshrined in the laws of cricket”.
He continued: “In this instance, the decision made by Billy Doctrove and Darrell Hair to award the match to England was the correct one under the laws.”
Speed and Sunil Gavaskar, the chairman of the ICC’s Cricket Committee, are responsible for appointing umpires for Tests and one-day internationals.
“This process has been approved by the ICC’s Executive Board, which includes representatives of all Test-playing teams, and has proved successful,” Speed added.
The Pakistan Cricket Board has expressed concerns about Hair’s umpiring in the past, but this was the first time they had done so in writing. The Australian is not scheduled to stand in the forthcoming one-day series against England.
Re: Breaking News: Finally Mr. Hair has opened his mouth
BBC is a **** ,He actually did,nt denied outwrightly, but BBC changes his statement to their will.
Re: Breaking News: Finally Mr. Hair has opened his mouth
(1) Don't jump on BCCI's case yet. No one knows the facts of this case, and if it turns out (from the proceedings of the hearing, and not necessarily its decision) that Hair indeed was unfair in this case (we know this, but BCCI doesn't, yet), I am sure they will help Pakistan with their influence.
I think Bangladesh and Sri Lanka were too hasty in siding with Pakistan without even knowing all details of the case. What if there was credible evidence of ball tampering (i know there wont be, but you have to look at things from their perspective).
Re: Breaking News: Finally Mr. Hair has opened his mouth
whatta cry baby Hair really is. Why can't he show the evidence?
Re: Breaking News: Finally Mr. Hair has opened his mouth
Because he hasn't got one............LOL.
Re: Breaking News: Finally Mr. Hair has opened his mouth
I am scared that he got evidence... actually he got two tempered balls, not just one :(
He can win the case :(

^I feel like this is gonna blow up in our faces.
People will pay when truth reveals: Hair
People will pay when truth reveals: Hair
**LONDON, Aug 24: **Under-fire Australian umpire Darrell Hair is not unduly bothered by the strong criticism against him in the wake of the ball-tampering controversy, saying a lot of people will pay the price when he comes out with his version of the row.
Expressing his anguish that he was not treated well in his adopted country (England) following Sunday's unpleasant episode, Hair said he would reveal his side of the story only after the issue came to an end.
"I'll be putting a lot to my side when this is all over. I have been vilified by virtually everybody here and when the truth comes out a lot of people will pay. So, that's all I can say," Hair was quoted as saying by the 'Independent'.
The 53-year-old Lincolnshire-based umpire said people who wanted him out of the ICC Elite panel umpires would have do something special to achieve their aim.
"If people want to try and force me out of the game it has to be done in some shape or form that I am unaware of, because I am contracted to do a job and I know I am doing it quite well at the moment so far as the ins and outs are concerned," he said.
Hair said he did not have any problem in officiating in matches involving teams from the sub-continent.
"There is no problem with me and the sub-continent. I have umpired quite a lot in the sub-continent over the last couple of years to the best of my ability."
Responding to a question whether his umpiring was under threat after the ball-tampering row, Hair blamed the media for giving unnecessary emphasis on any subject.
"There's a lot of things under threat and you people (the media) are probably responsible for a lot of them."
LoL, I have a feel we r going to get humiliated!
Re: People will pay when truth reveals: Hair
No, the matter is not about humiliation. The matter is about principal. We were absolutely on the trot to register our protest and somebody had to take a stance after taking so much crap from Hair. It could have been Sri Lanka or India on the given day as well.
Right now, we gotta support Inzi and his group and inshAllah Inzi will come clean.
