Re: Breaking news: Emergency Lifted
Prince_Abbas:
I hope you are only pretending to be dumb.
If you really thinks what you just wrote above then it may explain your support to na-pak generals of our Army.
If emergency was for fighting terrorism in NWFP then why is it lifted at this moment even though the fighting in NWFP is still going on?
While boot-lickers here are still talking about “emergency for fighting terrorism”, the na-pak generals are giving other excuses for emergency.
http://dawn.com/2007/12/15/welcome.htm
"Musharraf said a conspiracy had been hatched by unspecified people, with the involvement of members of the judiciary, to derail the country’s transition to democracy.
Now the conspiracy has been foiled, and the election will be held on January 8"
Na-pak generals think that anyone who does not accept military’s naked involvement in politics is a “conspirator”.
Na-pak generals lifted the emergency as soon as they thought they had enacted enough laws to make sure they will keep the power in politics. It is obvious that “fighting terrorism” was nothing but an excuse to keep Pakistani people enslaved of military’s grip.
To be fair, Kiyani has gone on record to say that he believes the Military should nto be involved in Politics.. He may reddem himself if he can gather the courage to stand by his word.
