same can be said of muslim population.ppl let these leaders stay in power so they stay in power.let them do anything/everything they want do it.i say these ppl are just as much guilty as the leader himself.they left him stay in power despite all the bloodshed and corruption.30+ years is not a small period of time.now iraqis are paying the price with their blood.saddam prolly didn't kill as many as USA has killed since the so called liberation of iraQ.but then that is irrelevant.

The delivery of justice to a monster has been twisted so badly it risks turning him into a legend and a hero to one of Iraq's major communities.
There should have been no trial for Saddam until peace and justice was first restored to Iraq.
Saddam has been treated no different to a fallen Baghdad caliph from an early time of arab folklore. Cast by the military of his foes out of his palace into the streets, turned into a fugutive, his sons hunted down and killed, seized in rags, hauled before a show trial whilst civil war reigned in the streets of Baghdad and the country all around, and executed. This is a story that could have come from the Arabian Nights, rather than an example of 21st Century regime change.

same in Pakistan, we keep saying stuff against Musharraf but sometimes I think we might deserve him. We as a nation are becoming so dishonest, selfish and ignorant.
All the muslim nations will keep facing the problems unless they start following the real Islam teachings rather than following Americanization

i dont see the point of the need to have a sham of a trial in cases such as these, because the whole world knows this is just another ploy, making a mockery out of democracy and freedom.
everybody new the outcime of the trial before it had even begun!!

I heard al-maliki's statement welcoming sod-i-am's verdict and wondered if history will judge him differently. Under maliki's stewardship, eye-rack hasn't fared better infact quite the worse. Now, we can blame the circumstances, the raging civil war etc. for the killings but what good is maliki? Has he done anything to improve the law-n-order in eye-rack other than pandering to his shia constituents ('remove the barricades around sad'r city!').

i don't think so, according to them their the best thing thats happened *for *the world so far, what i don't understand is why get involved in another countries business in the first place.
i'm sure u mus b aware of the lack of new recruits 4 the army, if in the near future the uk was attacked who would help them out, would america stand shoulder 2 shoulder with the uk?
only if there was something in it for them,perhaps?
