1935 - the only surviving building was that of Command & Staff College, Quetta.

There's a lot of sadness over the loss of lives, property and a lot of valuable assets, we must also thank Allah that this wasn't as bad as 3 years ago.

I'm also proud of the fact that the experiences from 2005 have made our districts, cities, local government, provincial govts, emergency services as well as law and order depts much better prepared to handle catastrophes now.

Orgs like NDMA under Gen Farooq has developed into an excellent institution doing great work and prepared well. As is ERRA. And of course the Army, PAF and Navy is ever ready with the men, aircraft, machinery and supplies. The coordination between all depts and compassionate gestures by various city and dist govts has also been very commendable.

May Allah keep Pakistan and all Pakistanis safe.

May there be blessings and may the injured or those having suffered losses recover soon and may those valuable citizens lost during this quake find highest of places in heaven.

m looking for some charity organization that is collecting funds for the victims but cant find any. if someone knows some website where we can donate please mention it here.

if we donate just 1 US dollar its gona be 80 pakistani rupees, we can raise alot of funds as we did after KAshmir earth quack. everyone should open their hearts.
