there is no domestic conflict in pak, rather it is a very narrow group of people trying to take over pak by spreading chaos. same strategy was used by arab terrorists in afghanistan and iraq. too bad pakistanis are too dumb to recognise their real enemies.

The situation in pakistan is similar to what India had in 1991 after Rajiv's assasination. However the main difference is India had a strong democratic frame work and hundreds or leaders ready to take up any role or position in the democratic set up. Unfortunately for Pakistan, there are very few leaders of Benazir's charisma and not many to succeed.

I am shocked even though I shouldn't be. This is war against an evil force calling itself jihadis. This is a global struggle, and we have to look beyond petty politics and realize the threat. There can be no democracy or elections under these conditions.

pak army also helped taliban. does not stop al qaedah from attacking pak army either. people blaming govt are closet al qaedah sympathisers who dont have the guts accept the action of their own kind.
She passed away in the civil hospital near liaqat bagh, and a neighbour's son was posted there, and he said she passed away about 10-15 minutes after she was brought there, as she couldnt breathe. PTCL has shutdown all telephone lines for now in that area.
Also, there are reports of Muslim League [Q] offices being torched all over the country.
