Bhugti was a thug, she was a leader. hyderabad mein firing ho rahi hai.. People are burning shops.Maybe for few days, but maybe no one control it anymore.

Pakistan is in crisis and lets hope that our leaders, both in power and in opposition show courage and vision and work for the betterment of Pakistan. Maybe a govt of national unity should come into being. Allah Reham farmaiye.

Does anyone know who apart from Benazir died? Our neighbour, and her political secretary Naheed Khan is always by her side, and I hope shes alright.

Indeed. There was only one group of people in Pakistan who threatened to send suicide bombers after Benazir if she came back to Pakistan, and that promised has been fulfilled on more than one occasion.

Taliban commander Baitullah Mehsud has threatened suicide attacks against PPP Chairwoman Benazir Bhutto, saying his bombers are waiting in the wings to “welcome” her when she returns, FATA Senator Saleh Shah told Daily Times on Thursday. Shah is a close friend of Mehsud and is currently trying to broker a deal between the Mehsuds and the government to secure the release of around 250 abducted soldiers. “My men will welcome Bhutto on her return. We don’t accept President General Musharraf and Benazir Bhutto because they only protect the US interest and see things through its glasses. They’re only acceptable if they wear the Pakistani glasses,” Shah quoted Baitullah as saying. He said that Mehsud, who killed three soldiers out of the hostages and has threatened more executions, had a following of 35,000 highly trained and organised fighters, including a ‘suicide squad’.

Benazir Bhutto had been addressing rallies in many parts of Pakistan
Pakistani former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto has been killed in a presumed suicide attack, a military spokesman has announced on TV.
Earlier reports said Ms Bhutto had only been injured and taken to hospital.
Ms Bhutto had just addressed a pre-election rally in the town of Rawalpindi when the bomb went off.
At least 15 other people are reported killed in the attack and several more were injured. Ms Bhutto had twice been the country’s prime minister.
She was campaigning ahead of elections due in January.
The explosion occurred close to an entrance gate of the park in Rawalpindi where Ms Bhutto had been speaking.
PPP spokesman Farhatullah Babar initially said that Ms Bhutto was safe. But later he told the BBC that Ms Bhutto had died.
Another member of the PPP, Wasif Ali Khan, told the Associated Press news agency from the Rawalpindi General Hospital: “At 6:16 pm (1316 GMT) she expired.”
Ms Bhutto returned from self-imposed exile in October after years out of Pakistan where she had faced corruption charges.

Lets wait for the outcome of the HIGH PROFILE meeting at President House.
A complete curfew in Pakistan is likely along with some other actions to calm and control the situation.
Otherwise, Pakistan and Pakistan should be ready for uncontrolled mass protests.
This is a sad sad sad day for Pakistan, since the killing of Zia-Ul-haq in 1987.

O' she had a pretty decent following....and above all, she was a world leader, well known all over.
