Salam to all!
I was just wondering that what does Islam say about someone who breaks someone’s heart intentionally or unintentionally? Is there any punishment that Allah gives to this person,if the person whose heart is broken isn’t willing to forgive him/her?
What do you people think? Please share your thoughts and views.
Re: Breaking hearts
Mandir tha day masjid tha day
tha day jo kuj thaenda
Dil kisi da na thavi
Dil wich Rab renda
means you can demolish Mandir or Masjid but dont break anyones heart becoz Allah live in it.
Well you should ask him/her to forgive you and it will save you from punishment
It's actually a hadith: "that if the ka'ba if broken can be put-back, but never a heart.."
Re: Breaking hearts
how about if people have brought hurt upon themselves through their lies, but blame it on you??
Re: Breaking hearts
It depends on a lot of factors. Who is right, the heart breaker or the one whose heart is broken. IF the person whose heart is broken because of the fact that the heart breaker didn't do something immoral which the heart broken person wanted him to do, then the heart breaker is on the right track and it doesn't matter even if the heart broken person doesn't forgive him.
Sincerity and intentions are the keys. IF there was a misunderstanding they should remove it by communicating their individual perspectives and feelings through wisdom. IF the heart broken person is not forgiving even after the heart breaker asked for forgiveness many times and repented his mistakes, then no need to worry, but one should try one's level best to the extent possible to reduce the bad impact of one's past mistakes (through good deeds) on the life of people who were negatively effected by our past deeds.
It's actually a hadith: "that if the ka'ba if broken can be put-back, but never a heart.."
