My cousin is getting married in June so her sister and I will be hosting her a “breakfast at tiffanys” theme bridal shower. I needed ideas for the party favors? wanted it to stay affordable because we will need 30 but i also wanted it to be unique and memorable! I was thinking of cosmetic pocket mirrors? any more ideas other than candles and edible items? my cousin and i were thinking of giving away something that is keep sake so anytime someone looks at it, they remember they got it from the shower.
also, any fun games, menus and decor ideas?
we are going to be throwing a bunch of silver, white and tiffany blue balloons all over the house in addition to wall decor. i was thinking of taking an end table to setting it up like the window display at tiffanys that audrey hepburn was looking through in the begining of the movie. the jewllery would be fake ofcourse! any more ideas for like food and games or in general?

how about specifying that the dress code is little black dresses and pearls.
compact mirrors is a great favor! you could personalise them with the initial of each guest with swarovski stickers - Swarovski Rhinestone Stickers | Dreamtime Creations - and of course package them in turquoise boxes with a white ribbon.
maybe add a neutral shade of lip gloss to it- a pinky-brown color looks good on everyone.

For the goodie bags: Compact idea is great! the have some amazing pink ones at forever 21 for like a dollar each! you could add lip gloss as someone above suggested, and a mini ghiraderelli chocolate. Also you can add cute hair pins in it as well.

reminds me of Blair's bridal shower on Gossip Girl. I think there was this little game where everyone was given a blue Tiffany box and at the end of the night they all opened their boxes. One of the boxes contained a ring. . that's a cute idea! Don't have to use an real diamond ring, maybe a Ring Pop :) or one of those Napkin holder ones.

Hey Guys! I am throwing my cousin a "Breakfast at Tiffany's" bridal shower at the end of April and we are wanting to keep it very classy and chic, down from the decor to the food and so now I am a little stumped at the games! I want to keep it somewhat PG rated but still fun and unique! Can you give me a list of ideas? I have a couple, but I want games that are super fun and interactive for everybody. It will be a mixed crowd of both married and unmarried girls, but all in their 20's and under 35 so maybe one or two some what x-rated games (but still appropriate enough) won't be a bad idea, as long it makes everyone chuckle and not offended you know? lol The crowd isnt overly conservative or overly modern, so all of your ideas are welcome! :)
Also menu ideas will be so helpful as I have yet to get to that but I am unsure of what to do about it! I am not worried about desserts, more so the food. Should I cater, or DIY ??
One is that no one at the party can say the fiance's name. At a luau-themed shower I attended, we were all given leis when we entered. If someone heard another person at the party say the fiance's name, she claimed the speaker's lei. The idea was to collect the leis. Maybe for a BaT theme you could get plastic rings or tiffany-blue ribbons or something for people to collect.
You can probably do a who knows the bride best quiz.
You can also have the groom write a quiz about himself for the bride to take in front of everyone. The groom could concoct an amusing punishment for each incorrect answer (chewing more and more pieces of gum, taking a bite of something she doesn't like to eat, doing something silly/embarrassing, etc).

Thank you SO MUCH for all of these suggestions!! For some reason , I didnt get any notification about the thread so I didnt see this till now but we are now three weeks away from the shower and I just posted a thread for games, maybe it can be merged but I am very excited to post all the pics for the shower! I have a preview of my DIY invites and they turned out perfect so I am getting sooo excited!! Im thinking of using the GG idea of having the streams of lights infront of a tiffany blue backdrop for one accent wall. I have a ton of christmas lights from my wedding so thats perfect just have to find the perfect fabric. Organza or tule is cheap and might work because we wont need that many lights since it is a day event after all and my khalas house has a ton of natural light especially in the room we are hosting the party in.
let me try and upload a pic of the invites, its a preview because i dont want to give it away just yet since my cousin doesnt have a clue of the theme. let me see if i can figure out how to upload a photo.
