Try omelette, cereal, poached egg, muffins, croissants, porridge, belgian waffles, churros and hot chocolate, fruit salads… or try the full enlgish breakfast (using halal sausages ofc :D)

Ohh i feel like some halwa channey puri now… :hinna:

Re: break fast

usually have 2 boiled eggs or a cheese omlette

Re: break fast

hehe ate half a can of vegetarian chili with a dallop of greek yogurt today...it was yummy

I was never a big breakfast person. I usually have a glass of cold chocolate skim milk. And sometimes on the weekends, a bagel with cream cheese.

If you're fed up with your usual breakfast of egg, butter, jam, and paratha....then you can try:

1) fruit

2) bowl of cereal and milk

3) waffles

4) pancakes

5) bagels with cream cheese

5) croissants, danish, scones, various breakfast pastries

6) crepes filled with Nutella or jam and fruit

7) try a variety of breads (whole grain toast, cinnamon raisin toast, etc).

8) halwa poori and cholay

9) pop tarts, granola bars

10) flavored yogurt with granola/fruit

11) quiche

12) Pastries stuffed with meat/cheese/or potatoes

13) If you're familiar with middle eastern cuisine....you should try zatar...its a bread topped with herbs, spices, and olives/tomatoes/mint leaves (optional)

14) Sandwiches (bagel sandwich, egg sandwich, chicken sandwich)

15) aaloo ka paratha, gobi ka paratha, buttered kulcha, naan filled with keema

16) shaami kababs? aaloo ki tikki? potato cutless?

17) milkshakes

18) muffins

Re: break fast

Yeh you can get these things from supermarkets in Pakistan. When I was in Pakistan in 2005, I could find things like this.

Yes Suhaina, they are easily available at the supermarkets in Pakistan. I don’t know where you are in Pak, but I’ve been to Lahore several times and could find these things int the market. I know Lahore has some awesome bakeries and you can find croissants, danish, scones, quiche, and various breakfast pastries from there. Fresh bagels can also be found at a bakery. OR you can buy a pack of bagels from the supermarket. You can also buy a pack of frozen waffles/pancakes, maple syrup, granola bars, and pop tarts from the supermarket. You just warm up waffles in the toaster, spread with butter, and pour maple syrup on them…you do the same with pancakes. If you don’t know what they look like…I’ve included links to pictures below.

Bagels with cream cheese

Go to the bakery to find some of these items and go to the frozen food/breakfast items section of your supermarket. Greek yogurt might be found from the market as well.

Re: break fast

thnx u r so helpfull redvelvet

Re: break fast

Try halwa puri…:hehe:

Mmmmmmmm…I agree with ya there, Shaz. Can’t ever go wrong with halwa puri! And it especially tastes soooooooo good in Pakistan cuz you can buy it nice and fresh from the street vendors. I occasionally will eat the poori with the halwa…BUT I looooove eating the cholay (chanay) with poori, lol.

Here in the US, we just buy the frozen halwa poori from the market and it’s not bad at all. Luckily my mom makes good chanay/cholay so it works out.
