Yep except I wasn't wearing white socks.

Joking aside, this is more like the reverse flares, I didn't get to that stage, weak wrists at that age.

What a blast from the past :hehe: . I remember break dancing almost 20 years ago as a kid. Not to Michael Jackson though. If I remember correctly, there was certain type of breakdancing music out there in the early 80’s. I can’t remember the names however.

Freat haha same here..
been 20 years..wow..

I remember dancing to songs like street dance and break dance party by the band break machine. some song by chakka khan, rock it by herbie hancock, and hiphop bebop by man parrish i think.

I recall I had moved to Pakistan just when break dancing was becomign famous there, in Karachi they had breakdancenights at the arts council, buncha diff bands, break-o-matic, breakout, etc etc :) used to be a blast then.

Break Dancing is not a "forgotten art"
i mean it depends what kinda break dancin' u mean
there was a time when irish dance was called break dancing
break dancing is a dance that is considered cool at that time
irish dancing probablly used to be "cool" a hundred years ago

i know many moves like helicopter, legspin windmill etc
(actually there the only ones i know)hehehe

Oh its far from forgotten . . . y'all seniors need a refresher course in what break dancing has evolved to.

Re: Break dancing

Yes, when I was in school. Almost on all kinds of songs. I just could not help sit still. My younger brother used to go like :smack: (He always preferred to sit quietly while listening to music). Old days…
