So does anyone own one? What are the benefits? I have always seen them at dept stores but never had the urge to bake my own bread. However I have recently started to pay attention to food labels and have been rather disappointed with the long list of ingredients in even whole wheat bread. There are dozens of ingredients. I used to buy flour tortillas as a replacement for homemade rotis. There are only 3or 4ingredients in homemade roti. Flour, water Salt and a little oil (optional).
Re: bread machine - anyone own one?

Re: bread machine - anyone own one?

bread machine - anyone own one?
I’m not asking about roti maker about a bread machine. So many additives in commercial bread … Ugh
Re: bread machine - anyone own one?
I have one. It is so simple to use. Usually we just put all the ingredients in at night and by the morning you have freshly baked bread!
bread machine - anyone own one?
Does the bread taste good? what brand do you have?
Re: bread machine - anyone own one?
The bread tastes great in my opinion. You can make a variety of different types of bread but we usually stick with French bread…or sometimes raisin bread.
We have had our machine since as long as I could remember. “The Bread Machine” by Welbilt
This is how it looks like…expect ours is a lot more worn out ![]()

Re: bread machine - anyone own one?
I have one as well. I have the CBK25OU Brushed Breadmaker from Cuisinart. I usually make plain rye bread or french bread and it’s quite good. This model also settings to make cake and pizza dough but I’ve not tried making those with it, so I’m not sure how those would turn out.
