Or some method of removing hair down there. Anyone try it? I dunno whether to go to a desi place or an Amrikan place.

Thing is, I usually do it on my own, but I’d prefer a wax at this point. I am too scared to do it on my own.

Not sure if desis really do it well…

I had a brazilian once. I went to one of these reputable places. I was so disappointed the woman used wax that was too hot. When I got home and showered I noticed burn marks everywhere... took a good few weeks to heal and disappear :(

Hope that doesnt happen to you. If your doing it at home try it on your wrist before you put the wax anywhere else on your body and if your going to a parlour then go somewhere a friend has gone and recommends rather than worry about desi/western places.

I use the ready made wax strips for the bikini waxing...back in pakistan...i used nair strips...they were fine too...last time i went to cvs...got sally hansen waxing strips...they are good too :) i always prefer doing it myself and using the ready made wax strips for it...it makes the work less messy... :)

I got to a desi aunty.. she does it from home. very clean and professional. i m done in ten minutes and its pocket friendly also

I've gotten it done. Got it done from an American place (Bliss Spa)....a bit expensive but compared to getting my arms and underarms waxed at a desi place, almost painless I would say.

When I got my underarms/arms/face waxed from a desi place, the areas would hurt for days and i would alwyas feel a little bit of wax was still stuck on the skin. Not so for the brazilian done at a gora salon.

Most Arab women use 'halawah' or sugaring.. compared to hot-wax it hurts much more! I go a Moroccan lady, she's super-fast..

PCG join groupon.com. They give away 1/2 priced coupons to all the expensive places n services. I use it a lot n hv been to all the upscale saloons in manhattan n their services r faaaaaaar superior then desi places :@:
n as far as ur query is concerned u hv 3 options regular/sensitive/painfree waxing. I’d rather go with painfree if I’ll ever hv the courage :bummer:

Agree with Gina - the arab ladys are fab at this. There's a morrocan lady round here that does it so well - she uses that pink wax that they spread on to the skin and pull off with their hands, so no strips needed. She takes around 10 minutes :)

Go to a European Spa to get it done. NEVER EVER go to a desi place. They are not hygenic or sanitary. I never go to desi places for anything beauty related, whether it be waxing, facials, nails etc. They are GROSS!
