do you really think thats nothing to be embarassed of???do you really think its fine to open up your most private part infront of some other woman?? just for the sake of some pleasure and to remain hairfree for sometime?I THINK ITS HARAM IN ISLAM...NOW THIS IS EMBARASSING...
Please stay on topic.
The girl who opened this thread did not ask about your views on brazilian wax or whether it's haram or not. Please preach elsewhere, this thread was for someone who was just asking about salons who offer that service. It's fine that you have your morals but what you posted was totally offtopic and rude. If you think its haram or bad, start another thread asking what people think of it but don't hijack other peoples thread based on your religious views.
i am doing the brazillian wax myself successfully. i will let you know how to do this.
Fisrt you need to buy hard wax(its fron Nair or lubna's is alos making it). Buy hard wax not hot wax...Hardwax is like solid....The method is you need to heat the wax on stove till it will melt. Then apply some oil on the portion of your body from where u want to remove u hair. It works gr8 on pubic region. I tried to wax my public region by hot wax but nothing happened and i failed every time.
When you apply oil after that with spachula apply a layer of wax and u will see in seconds it will be cool.Be careful while applying wax so that u will not burn urself...Apply the wax when it will be a bit cold but apply before it will be sold agian.
After that with you fingers try to leave the wax. And u will see it will stick to your hair and remove it. Wwhen you will do it you will learn it. Alwayz strip away opposite to the direction of ur hair...I tried this and was able to remoave all my pubic hair...You need to be in front of a mirror to be more successful.
All please try to clean ur hair urself and dont expose ur private parts in front of a women as its haram....and prohibited....
there is alternatives....shaving, waxing, epilators, plucking, creams, etc.
look into them, try them and do whatever works for you.
just because you cannot do a brazilian on yourself doesn't limit you from keeping it clean.
thanks nabz....I wouldn't be asking the questions if I didn't have a desire to find a solution.
trust me...the first and foremost thing in my mind is to be clean. I cannot tolerate being otherwise.
mshafique,
It was my understanding that oil removes wax and prevents it from sticking to you. How will applying oil prior to applying was allow the wax to stick to the hairs?

im sorry i dont want to change your mind just like i cant change the minds of millions of boys and girls doing wrong things and i will praech wherever i want...you sounds so conservative!!
^ummm... just for my info. where does it say that its forbidden in Islam?
What does self respect have to do with waxing?
And who do you think deliver babies? Do you think they tupkofy from the sky?
we deliver babies we also show our most private part to our husband so does delivering babies give this rite that we can do everything....this is sick girl!!
i think that you can practice and wax ur self...you can also use braun i have been using it for 3 years...u"ll be done in just 3mins..but its diffficult to wax coz it takes so much time braun is the best thing...i think im the most hairy person in this world:(but it takes atleast 25 days for the hairs to even showff..i braun my underarms in just 3mins hairs should not be long n thick when u braun them...and by da way who has so much time after marige to wax at home or rush to a parlor after 15days.
I'm saying that that's what lots of my cousins have been told by these salon ladies that have been in the business for a long time. These women made the brides feel backward and silly for not doing it. They acted as if it was the norm (and my sense is that because grooming is so much more affordable and available in Karachi than it is in the West and because there are more women of liesure it may well be the norm).
Now, I'm not one to be convinced to do anything just to please a man, but it is certainly acceptable to beautify and groom yourself in a way that is pleasing to you and your husband.
By the way, I don't feel comfortable getting this done by other people. Nor do I approve of the way in which most societies are structured to make women feel ashamed of what is natural to them or to feel that they need to change themselves in order to be acceptable or beautiful. However, if someone else wants to do it, it's her choice.
I think you should relax about this. You're getting defensive when no one is attacking you, or your religion.
yes im getting defensive...i think that you girls misjudged me.just bcoz i know its haram doesnt mean that im consrvative and im against the grooming of girls..now im feeling bad that i shudnt have said tht in the first place.
Daffodil, no one is judging you, or assuming you're conservative. I believe people are just trying to say that this thread was created just to find out where to get a brazillian wax done, not whether they SHOULD get it done or not.
I understand that you want people to know its haram, but like tammy said, why fill up this thread, why not just start a new thread? That's all.

I think Brazilian is the complete thing... the one you might be talking would be bikini waax.. rectify me gals if i am wrong..
anyhoo.. doing wax yourself needs good wax... i found so many bad waxes they actually ruined my skin.. finally i found a nice one.. but i find it only in US :(
i hate shaving..
So what is a brazilian wax.... it includeds bikini and in between the butt crack? (Not trying to be funny)
Salon's in Pakistan do this?
The only advice I have is make sure you go to a clean and sanitary place, as you dont want to develop an infection.
Reply to Daffodil’s post… I think its totally weird when people say oh you can’t have bikini wax done… Ok, honestly I don’t get it done cuz I’m not comfortable even with a woman doing it BUT its the principle that bugs me when people say its haraam. In essence I don’t think its haram… its not a male you’re going to, it females… just like you go to a lady doctor to get a Pap Smear done, or a pelvic exam… you’re not going because of majboori, you’re going for early detection and prevention. Does that mean that going for Pap smears is haraam too? Haan, Pakistan mein tau gynecologist kay paas jaana hee haraam hai unless you’re pregnant
Then also when you deliver a child you have it done by a midwife or a female doctor… agar private areas dikhaana haraam hai tau khud bachay paida kar lo (at home) or ask your husband to deliver the baby… why do you need a doctor… I know a couple of gori ladies here whose husbands delivered the babies as they couldn’t get to hospital on time.
How bizarre. Getting pubic hair waxed is extremely common in Pakistan. Most of the people I know get waxing ladies come over to their house to do it. And they usually remove EVERYTHING.
You can get a Brazillian from Neelos. They are very professional and hygienic.

getting a Brazillian wax done is in no way haram. Pick up a Hadith and read the Quran for its meaning. Marriage and sexual relations with your husband are highly encouraged. Pleasing your husband is very important and him pleasing you is very important both emotionally and physically. The Prophet (PBUH) and his wife Aisha (RA) answered many questions about sex, and openly discussed what a sex life between a man and a woman should be. The Prophet (PBUH) discussed these things because as Muslims we should know, and not ignore this aspect of our lives.
I support that ppl shouldn't put their sex lives out to the public, but for heavens sake, this is a forum, no one knows you.
And secondly, when a woman gives birth, do you really think that her privates are covered or that she is delivering the baby herself? who teaches her how to nurse? what does she do about gynecological exams? getting a brazillian wax done is not haram when you're having another woman do it for you--she's not going to be shocked to see a private area that she herself has.
