Ahmedzai of Afghanistan are different. Ahmedzai of Kambarani family of Kalat are different. They derive their name from Mir Ahmed Kambarani I. Kambarani tribes are of Dravidan Brohis. No, he does not trace his ancestory to Pashtun. But they do like to identify themselves with Baloch in order to gain political legitimacy of ruling over them. This is very common. The Qazalbash though being Turk styled themselves as Persians. The Barlas Mongols styled themselves as Chugtai Turk.
Kambarani Brohis of Kalat (Who styled themselves as Mir, Sardar, Begler Begi, Khan and Ahmedzai) defeated Baloch, Pashtun and Sindhi tribes residing North, South and East of them.
Yeah they don’t look Tamil because they have mostly married Baloch and Pashtun women (for last few generations). Even my friends mother is Pashtun while her father is Brohi (from Khan of Kalat family). Brohis are a Dravidian race.
Read some history (from Original sources), not hearsay.
Safar
Who is going to believe this that bunch of Dravidian defeated warrior tribes of Pashtun, Baloch and Sindhis around them. There is no mention of this event in the history books.
