what is the difference between the model Silk-épil 5 epilators and Silk-épil 7 epilators and which one is better??.
Re: braun epilators
well really if u do a quick search online or go thru the Braun website the differences are pretty obvious.
But because i have been coincidentally pondering over the same question for days i can gv u a summarized version of my own research
In short, the BIGGEST and most obvious difference is that 3 of the 4 silk epil 7 models are wet-and-dry which means u can use them in water as well (which means that essentially they can be used with and without cords..battery rechargeable) .. Silk Epil 5 on the other hand always has to be used with a power-cord and cannot be used in the shower.
IMO, Silk Epil 7 is the better choice mainly because it can be used in the bath and shower for extra comfort and lesser pain. Other than that both have more or less the same attachments with different fancy names but the exact same purpose.
Re: braun epilators
OOOOHH - i brought an epilator - braun 7, like two days ago and i used it today IN THE BATH!! it was amazing and i'm so in love with it! My legs feel so smooth!
Re: braun epilators
thb, i bought an epilator today, a Babyliss one. its AMAZING! 72 teweezers, and the finish is totally GREAT!!!!!!!
Re: braun epilators
Those who have used different brands, which one is the best?
Re: braun epilators
I have a braun epilator and a phillips one.
I had my Phippips one for years and I really ave to say it is te best I ever used.
The braun one is pretty new and I hate it.
With the phillips one I never needed more than 15 mins, for my arms(both)
But with the braun one I needed a horrible long time for one half arm...like 45 mins and the result was HORRIBLE:
Also in comparison it is really slow, and so it hurts sooo much more to remove hair.
I would really recommend the Phillips epilator, everyone I know is happy with it =)
Re: braun epilators
^Thanks Choco.
Re: braun epilators
but i was also wondering about the lenght of the hair both the braun model 5 and 7 can take out since Silk-épil 7 epilator can take out 0.5 mm but in Silk-épil 5 epilator it is not mentioned
Re: braun epilators
I would really recommend the Phillips epilator,
oh reallly i wanna buy too so i shud buy philiphs one?
Re: braun epilators
which is best>???
Re: braun epilators
I used epilators for many years and the Philips ones were always better than Braun. You don't need all the fancy stuff either, they all essentially work the same way.
Proceed with caution though. I wish I had never used them. I eventually switched to professional waxes that could remove very short hair before going for Laser.
