Zaid Hamid is a blabbering idiot. The guy should be in a mental assylum.

The Pakistan report card

"I came across a programme where a man was seated in an open air forum delivering a talk with many eager devotees listening. It seemed tame enough, until it started digressing dangerously into hate speech. The man doing the talking started talking about the Hindu nation, their inferiority and how they were unfit to govern. Amongst his pearls of wisdom was the nugget that many Sikhs in Punjab are secretly Muslims whose allegiance is across the border. He teared up when he said that, and it sounded sincere.

The man in question is Zaid Hamid who does Brass Tacks for TV One. As I saw some of his subsequent programmes, obvious errors in facts came to light. For example, in his series on economic terrorism he mentioned the abandonment of the gold standard as a Zionist plot to destroy, who else, Muslims."

He’s more a patriot than you or i could ever be. The man has the courage to speak the truth and it’s commendable.

I saw a program of his and liked it so started to watch him regularly. But i started to find some of his ideas far fetched. For example:

-All the world, that is Zionist controlled, is hell bound to destroy Pakistan (as if our political leaders, army and Mullahs are all real masoom!)
-He over exaggarates the role of India in all the Zion conspiracies ( i think he does this to score points with India hating public but large majority of our awaam is not india bashers anymore)
-India wants to take over Pakistan (Is it militarily possible? If yes then what would india achieve by doing so anyway?)
-He reckons Pakistan is a the last country defending the honor of Muslim Ummah (he either deliberately or undeliberately skips the front running states/orgs fighting against Zionism i.e. Iran, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Hezbollah, Hamas etc)
-He says Taliban are not terrorists at all but they are good hearted Muslims (well, their record against their own people specially minorities speaks for itself)
-He has pulled out Hadiths proving that Pakistan and its army is divinely destined to destroy Israel (ironic that our army lives on the left overs of the same people he reckon we are tasked to destroy. I admit there were days when Pakistan army was looked up at but unfortunately that myth is long gone now and the image of Pakistan army is not so good anymore)
-etc etc

Having stated the above i do like Zaid Hamid for his patriotism. I also like him for his courage to touch on the topic of House of Saud although he could be little bit more direct about the role Saudis play in destruction of Islam.
