Lipsticks contain animal fat, many contain pig fat i've heard. Just wanted to confirm this.

well i did some quick researching and could only find this mentioned on some sites with no references or validation of the info. in fact many more websites say that beeswax is used.

the only thing i can see that would worry some is the carmine in some lipsticks.

Yeah i've been googling for a while too, couldn't find much.. my mom's always used Pakistan made Revlon and Medora lipsticks because of the fear tht other brands might be haraam. My aunt says Boots lipsticks are halal. Maybe Body Shop too?

Luscious is crap actually...I didnt like the quality of it at all .... its too dry ....

i've tried almost all products by luscious their lipsticks,gloss,powder,makeup primer,nailpolish,blush,eyeshadows n i think their lipsticks r very moisturizing n i also like their nail polishes..so over all good quality for a paki brand..i have also used diana of london their products r very highly pigmented,n also theres this arab brand golden rose there lipsticks r really good..etude is okay

Etude is not pakistani, it is korean and it's pretty good quality. I know LG Electronics also started making cosmetics for the Asian market (socho zara, LC electronics). I can't recal the name though. I remember buying some face powder which was nice.
