This first outfit was made for a client by the designer I advertising for.
Unfortunately, it didn’t work out with the client, so I asked him to send it to me so I could take some decent photos of it and put it on here.
Selling it at making price: £65 (including P&P in the UK), overseas P&P will be a little more.
It is a silk kameez (fully lined, concealed zip, finished with black piping) with raw silk pants (proper waistband with concealed zip) and a chiffon duputta with a silk patti.
The tailoring for this outfit was a pretty penny, the finishing of which can really be appreciated in person.
The work is thread embroidery (with a number of different stitches, it is really very pretty), highlighted with crystals in the little flowers.
**Measurements: **
Shoulders: 13.5"
Bust: **17" **
Waist: Hard to measure because of darts, it was made for a body meas of 26"
Hips: 17.5" (18.5" Damuun)
Length: 39"
Length of Pants: 33"
It was only worn for a few minutes for the photos. It’s been packaged back in the cellophane it came in.
Same Size as the above but with a shorter kameez length.
Chiffon banarsi kameez (fully lined, concealed back zip), Raw Silk Capris in Pink (slim fit, mid calf), Chiffon Duputta with Silk Patti.
The work is mainly dabka, with crystals as well and kundun type stones.. There is a line of pearls and crystals next to the silver piping, then the antique-ish dabka border.
Selling it at making price: £75 (including P&P in the UK), overseas P&P will be a little more.
If anyone wants both, there will be a small discount as they will be shipped together.
This one was made for myself for a mayoun or an at home mehndi but I never wore it (never had those functions in the end).
It was only ever tried on. I’m selling as it is a bit tight now and I doubt I would wear it elsewhere anyway.
The fabric is banarsi chiffon with metal stars embedded in the fabric (for the kameez and the duputta), the kameez has green piping (fully lined and concealed back zip). The shalwar is in pure grip (dark green, can be seen on the left hand side).
The stars are embedded (like mukesh) not glued on.
The fabric cost Rs.3,000, lining/dying/stitching cost in excess of Rs.1,500.
So I’m selling it for £36 (inc p&p for the UK only), overseas P&P will be a little more. I accept paypal payments,
Anyone who is interested can order them new (custom made with any desired alterations) from my designer, after next week (as he's tied up at the moment). Obviously, he can't sell them at making price but his margin is reasonable and shipping costs will be from Paksitan. And payment will be direct to him, so no PayPal :(
