reminds me of my professor in univ. her grand daughter asked her to buy diesel jeans for her. and the prof said, honey if you want a $250.00 jeans, then you better have my name on your butt pockets.

…goes to show, how unhappy grand parents are to this sense of purchasing expensive things that teens have no idea about as to how much they cost.

I would however invest in something useful like real estate (regardless of how small or huge the house is) because that is to secure something on the side and nothing wrong with making profit on stuff you worked hard to earn.
