People all the time talk about brainwashing of Mullahs and the symptoms of their victims, we all know about it so this topic is already discussed to death. But rarely have I heard people complaining about the Bolly/holly wood brainwashing. If you want to check whether you are a victim of Holly/Bolly culture or not please first read any authentic book related to the complete lifestyle of the prophet (saw) and then ask yourself the following questions:
-
Would you have any problem if your husband wants to put surma in his eyes (Sunnah of the Prophet saw)
-
Would you mind/complain if your husband wants to put mehendi on his beard ? Or you have not yet accepted beard, the sunnah of 1,24000 prophets confirmed by the three major religions of the world. Even in pictures Chrisitans show beard of Isa (Jesus), Jews show beard of Musa (Moses)
-
Would you follow “live and let live” slogan if your husband wants to wear dhoti or Shalwar qameez (or Burqah in case of wives), or this slogan is only reserved when it comes to selection of fashionable dressing for oneself.
-
When we say tit for tat, or husband-wife relationship is a two way traffic then how come husbands who are forceful in implementing purdah forget that the prophet (saw) never in his life went out of his home without a “topi” or “Pagri”, except in Ehraam while performing umrah or hajj (In that case it is disallowed for men to cover their heads). Are their wives also ignorant about this obligation for men.
-
If a wife is convinced that she should ignore her husband’s request that she should cover her ankles (as mentioned by the Prophet saw), then has she a right to force her husband against a sunnah (to expose ankles by men). Again I would like to know in which specific place did the Prophet (saw) covered his ankles and Fatima (r.a), Khadija (r.a), Ayesha (r.a)…etc. exposed their’s !!!
I would appreciate all the attacks on my comments (in order to learn and correct my understanding) only in case the critic has read any single book on the complete lifestyle of the Prophet (saw), otherwise I would still love the attacks but unfortunately wouldn’t be able to give any importance to it.
