Should the government try to negotiate with the Baloch Nationalists who are willing to engage and dissociate themselves from the battle?

Re: Brahumdagh says no Pak government contacted him for negotiated solution

So did he contacted the govt??? offering olive branch??? i doubt so!!! these statement is for western media consumption… if he serious, he can contact the embassy of Pakistan and/or can write a letter to the interior ministry, i am sure govt is all set to make a breaking news about it for international and investors consumption…

Re: Brahumdagh says no Pak government contacted him for negotiated solution

Well the answer to OP’s question is definitely yes. They should contact him. But remember that these bugtis have never done anything for the local people. I’ve been to quetta and met many balochis at the time of Akbar Bugti and they described their dire situation which was very scary while at that time bugti was taking ton of money in royalty.

Anywaz, but still the govt has to bring them on table cuz operation or violence is definitely never a solution

Sardar system from Baluchistan, Wadera from Sindh, Chaudhary from Punjab should be completely abolished. BTW is there similar thing in KPK? Its skipping me for now.

Bara Khan? Dirty dirtyest? I don’t know either.

Don’t worry it stumped someone in my family as well.

Re: Brahumdagh says no Pak government contacted him for negotiated solution

There’s no denying the fact that most of these tribal leaders have done nothing for their people. However my question was pertaining the situation we have now, when some powers could take advantage of the situation in the province to their advantage. Winding up of Afghan war and Pakistan’s improving relationships with Russia and China could create an ideal situation for some people to stir up the fault lines.

Re: Brahumdagh says no Pak government contacted him for negotiated solution

Maliks who used to be there in Fata have been wiped out by Taliban militancy. The Maliks used to help locals solve their disputes etc, more like head of jirgas. Not like we have in Punjab or Sindh.
