Why? Aren’t a number of Pakistanis sought asylum for right or false reasons in different countries of the world mostly western? How many passports were cancelled and blocked of their financial assets? Let him go. Really it makes no difference.

Because when you seek asylum, and then use your new place of residence to ferment trouble back home, then you’re no longer a victim, you forfeit that right. To let him go or not is something the Govt will need to decide, but it should be do it systematically; the culture of NRO and other such whimsical measures to secure support need to stop whether for individuals or political persons.
Who’s to say he wouldn’t misuse his Pakistani credentials in the future, or use the financial avenues if not blocked to finance trouble in Pakistan? It’s about safeguarding the country against mischevious individuals; that’s all.

If government start giving fair share of Balochistan… all these Bloch leader will no longer get support of Balochs…
Cancelling passport is not the issue of Balochistan… People over there need basic life healthcare, education .

That is true, every individual in the country should be provided a decent living, or the means of decent living. But when you play Robinhood, and then further that by killing people indiscriminately, you are no longer representative of the people you think you’re representing, you are just a criminal and a terrorist and need to be treated as such. Why apply those metrics to one group, and a different metric to another group? BRP is no longer a political party wanting to work within constitution of Pakistan, since the death of Grandfather Bugti, Brahamdagh has split from the original party of his grandfather called Jamhoori Watan Party, and created BRP which seeks independence from Pakistan altogether. BLA being its’ armed wing, and it is working to achieve break up of Pakistan under the supposed garb of fighting for the province’s residents, while the elected leaders of the same province are the ones who take the funds from the Govt without proper distribution for institutions such as Schools, Colleges, Hospitals, and better basic facilities for residents.
There is a fault in the system, but there are red lines that we all know we wouldn’t cross when trying to get our point across, and one of the obvious ones of those is to kill a person. BLA is responsible for countless murders, and this individual claims to be its’ leader in exile.

Doesnt everyone in Pakistan need basic life healthcare, education? There are people in Karachi living without clean drinking water. A friend in Punjab was told recently that if he wanted life saving surgery for his father, he would need to pay up front. Had to send money from here.

Economic development should coincide with economic activity.If the economy as a whole develops, then so will Quetta.

I don’t think he has many financial assets as compared to other rich politicians. Otherwise he would have never asked for asylum.

Mere bhai, nobody would disagree that Balochistan should develop. But actually that development of Baloch people is what makes these Baloch sardars angry. Because decelopment means they will lose control over the people. These sardars only want ransom for their personal use, not for development of Baloch people or Balochistan. Hence their opposition to Gwadar project.
For the same reason another port project is on hold in Thatta Sindh.
And for the same reason that urdu speaking ‘sardar’ in London does not want peace and development in Karachi.
All these people only want power and money at the expense of people they claim to represent.

Let me jump in and say that Quetta has nothing to do with Baloch. It has always been a Pashtun city.
So any perceived backwardness of Quetta must not be a cause of consternation for Baloch separatists.

And correct me if im wrong but isnt this Baloch uprising now over? When was the last there was an attack on a pipeline or train etc in the province?

Isn’t Thatta a coastal city, never been there so don’t know much about it… but looking at google earth it looks like coastal city…

Since the RAW network was captured, the attacks have reduced big time, but still we have Afghans and Local extremist groups… mostly religious are still active.. although frequency of attacks has been reduced but it is still there, one may say, if We can control Afghan Smuggling of suicide bombers and arms and terrorists… then things will improve drastically… provided we can take out the basis of these terrorists in Central Pakistan, where Rajan Pur, Shikar Pur, D I Khan…

Thatta district is coastal but thatta is much inland.
