Ok, i have a younger brother who is 12 yrs old and for the last few months he has been pestering all of us to let him shave his *choti si muchi…*we of course told him no way cos he’s too young rite?
I told him if u were a girl i wud understand, but boys shudn’t be embarrassed of some hair on their face…but he says he has too much (he always had a little bit there since he was a toddler) and it seems to really bother him and looks more visible cos he has fair skin…and well he’s being really stubborn about it…my other brother was about 16 i think, when he started shaving and likewise, most guys have told me they all started btwn the ages of 15-18…
I know kids are hitting puberty earlier than before, but don’t u guys think 12 is too young!?
So, to the guys out there…how old were u when u started shaving and were u teased or embarrassed by ur facial hair…or was it something u barely remember and when the time came, u just started to shave? How do u know when a boy is mature enough to handle shaving?
Yeah i think guys are, but maybe not 12 year old boys…
I duno about responsibilities with shaving but i think u have to be a little mature u know…I mean he won’t even remember to wash his face with soap so i think shaving shud be put off until high school at least…but he thinks it’s an easy thing, only later he’ll see it as a hassle…
The big deal is just his age that’s it really…i mean he has a baby face and it will look so weird to have stubble coming up in just that one area and the rest of his face barely has any hair…
LOL! At this point i think he wishes someone wud shave them off for him in his sleep!! sigh i duno y he’s so insistant about getting rid of it, i think he looks shooo cute…
A young teenager should be allowed to shave whenever he feels like it. You never know if he gets made fun of in his school. Since he is becoming a man, he should be allowed to make his own decisions.

umair_ahmed: yeah, but he’s not even a teenager yet…i think when he’s 14 and in high school it wud be more suitable…but yeah of course i don’t want him to be teased about it, even though most of us are teased about something or other growing up…i don’t think anyone is making fun of him, i think he just wants to do it cos some other boys are and he thinks he looks different or something…
first time i officialy shaved when i was in 9th grade .. before that i had a trimmer .. i dont think 12 is too early though .. my brother shaved his musctash at 12 and so did i teach him how to shave pubirty
Mr Bombastic: Thanks for being the first to actually gimme the approx age/grade of when u first shaved...so is it better to use the trimmer if u only have a little problem, like my bro's?...actually my Mum is so fed up with this topic in the house that she told me to go ahead and trim his moustache with some scissors! i told her to do it cos i'm to scared i mite miss and cut something else haha!
Well i guess a lot more 12 yr olds are shaving now, it's just shocking cos i didn't expect it...i duno, still think he'll look more weird after shaving it but maybe he'll be satisfied with a trimming...
And yeah, most guys i know hate shaving! It's such a hassle, nobody wants extra facial/body hair...it's not something to be excited about rite! :D
